That's a known issue due to some quirkiness in how Word and some other software interpret HTML in the clipboard. Only options are to use the Word add-on or save as RTF and open with Word

If that doesn't help, there's something else weird going on, and the easiest option would probably be to try installing the Zotero 7 beta, which bundles the word processor plugins in another way.

Did you do this? If you still don't see the installation buttons in the Cite → Word Processors pane of the Zotero preferences, it may help to open your Zotero profile directory, delete extensions.json
