Pipe?? Word Processor could not be initialized

"The pipe that Zotero uses to communicate with the word processor could not be initialized. Would you like Zotero to attempt to correct this error? You will be prompted for your password".
I am using MS Word on a MacBook Pro.
I should note that I have a couple of commenters on my document as I am preparing my dissertation proposal.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Zotero and MS Word. I have also deleted the Zotero connector.

    What macOS version? Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?

    The Debug ID is D254409500 I am using MacOS Sonoma Public Beta 14.0 but I was having trouble before I upgraded.

    Please be sure to mention that you're using a beta OS when posting here.

    Use the Zotero 7 beta, which will fix this. (But also, using a beta OS — and possibly other beta software out of necessity — on the computer where you're trying to do important work is a terrible idea.)
