    by shmil.t · June 17, 2016
Google docs' workaround seems a bit complex for me, I wonder if there is any other option?
  2. Word document saved with new name, does not retain Zotero citation links

    by Ashfur · May 22, 2016
Hmm. I'm trying to figure out what's going on then. I'm not using google docs or LibreOffice, so I don't think that's it.
  3. Word document saved with new name, does not retain Zotero citation links

    by Ashfur · May 22, 2016
So I am not using Google docs at all, I'm using word, but saving files in Google drive. I think the problem might be that when I renamed the files, I inadvertently saved them with the .docx extensions

It isn't exactly clear to me what software you were using to write your doctoral thesis. You said that you were using Word but also indicated that you were using Google Docs. If you still have a versi

  6. Using Zotero with Word Online

    by gabe-a · May 18, 2016
Is such a straightforward-seeming conversion between endnotes -> zotero possible at all? If not, how would one go about using online/collaborative document editing such as Word Online (or Google Docs,

    by Michael.Logies · April 25, 2016
Hello, I`m justing testing RTF-Scan (rtfscan) with a very simple, very short RTF-File from Google Docs. It does not work, the references do not show up. When I open this RTF-File in Wordpad (preinstal

  9. Google Docs plugin

    by LiborA · April 4, 2016
Zotero has the plugin for MS Word and for Libre/Open/NeoOffice. It would be nice to have a plugin for Google Docs too. I do not know how it can be done, but Colwiz has it and its plugin works well.
  10. Hierarchical groups

    by adamsmith · March 24, 2016
I don't see why you wouldn't benefit from the ability search across groups in Zotero for your workflow: search for an item, then drag to gdoc. In Word integration, search across libraries exists alrea
  11. Hierarchical groups

    by sdspieg · March 24, 2016
I still happen to think that hierarchical groups make more sense than searching across non-hierarchical groups, because on Google Docs we just can't do that. If we were working in Microsoft Word - the

Here's our use case. We have a large 'distributed' research project with a number of work packages and with different teams working on different work packages. We created a separate group library for
  14. Blog research/citations/linking

    by richards1052 · March 19, 2016
I'm new to Zotero. I write a political blog and have been using Google Docs research feature, which I love because it allows me to do research inside my document and then link or cite the source I wa
  15. Inserting a short citation into a google doc doesn't work

    by maxrempel · March 17, 2016
It does allow inverting citation markers in google docs and the rest is done after exporting to Libre office. It is a useful workaround, that still allows multiple authors to collaborate on a paper in

  18. editing word docs in google strips citation codes

    by mtstle · March 13, 2016
Help me understand the workflow. Prepare the paper in a foreign word processor, e.g. Google Docs, pasting the citations in using the ODF scan export format. Next, save the file as a WORD doc and run i
