Blog research/citations/linking
I'm new to Zotero. I write a political blog and have been using Google Docs research feature, which I love because it allows me to do research inside my document and then link or cite the source I want to add without leaving the open tab in for Google Docs.
What I would dearly love if there was a way to do such search & linking within my blog post edit page. In other words, is there a way using Zotero to find an article which I've saved and add a link to it within my blog post, without having to leave the blog post browser open tab?

adamsmithIs opening the Zotero pane in Firefox (which sits at the bottom of the screen by default ) not an option? Obviously you'd need to be using the Firefox add-on for that. With Zotero Standalone, the answer is not easily/natively. I think here are Window management apps that would give you a similar effect. Depends on the operating system, though.
