I have tried on a new, empty document, starting Zotero before word, and reinstalling the plugin.

I have been able to use the "Switch word Processors" function to switch from a Google Doc to a Word doc okay and convert the citations, but I run into problems when I try to switch from a tabbed Googl

I'm trying to use Zotero inside Microsoft Word, but it crashes after trying to insert second inline citation (doesn't matter what is it). Sometimes Word reopens automatically, sometimes it can't and o

Restarted both Zotero and Word.

The 'Selected Items' panel always shows the same reference (Forbes et al., 2022), even when opening newly created citations (e.g., Stone et al., 2022 or Currier et al., 2026) in a brand-new Word docum

and it can be done using the built-in Word footnote/endnote system, so I am not without options. Just checking in on something that is important to my little subfield!

What exact Word version?

I have the problem that Word crashes on my already made filde when I try to add a citation. The problem first occured today after I used the document for 2 months now.

Microsoft Word is Office Professional Plus 2016 (32-bit) on Windows 11.
