I'm sorry, if you have a very large document, the Google Docs integration does indeed slow down quite significantly. There is little that can be done about that except for disabling automatic updates

I can not get Zotero to work in Google Docs. Every time I try to insert a citation I get the message that there is a fault with updating my document. Can anyone help?
