Error using Google Docs: Zotero experienced an error updating your document
The Report ID is: 1333839088
When wanting to use ANY integration / features of Zotero in Google Docs, I receive the following error:
'Zotero experienced an error updating your document'
That is, I receive this error regardless of what option I select from the Zotero drop-down menu in Google Docs.
Related text to the error report included:
[JavaScript Error: "Exception: The document is inaccessible. Please try again later."]
version => 5.0.80, platform => MacIntel, oscpu => Intel Mac OS X 10.14, locale => en-US, appName => Zotero, appVersion => 5.0.80, extensions => Zotero LibreOffice Integration (5.0.20.SA.5.0.80, extension), Zotero Word for Mac Integration (5.0.24.SA.5.0.80, extension)
Just to note:
- I have tried restarting both Zotero and the Chrome browser used
- The Zotero version is the latest available

dstillmanFrom your email it sounds like you’re trying to edit a Word doc in Google Docs. You can’t do that directly — you need to transfer the document to Google Docs if you want to use the plugin there.
