    The last lines of the rapport are related to a try (insert/citation from the LibreOffice toolbar) where we can see that the plugin is not started (and I really don't know why).

    Based on the error above your LibreOffice and Java setup is fine. Do you have any security software running on the machine? Custom proxy? Could you disable all of that, restart Zotero and LibreOffice

    I recently uploaded Zotero (5.0.80) and Libreoffice (6.2.8.2) and reinstalled the java JRE (1.8.0_231) on windows (64 bits), and I always have the same problem when I want to insert a citation :

    For journal abbreviations, you generally don’t have to worry about those. Zotero will automatically abbreviate journal titles when you cite the items in Word/LibreOffice.

    The Zotero client does not install its extension into Firefox, so whatever you are seeing in Firefox is coincidental with the client update. As for the LibreOffice Plugin, it shouldn't be reinstalling
