We always need an example URL for problems with saving. If you're having trouble saving across many sites, see Troubleshooting Problems Saving to Zotero.
-
This isn't a problem in Zotero. Zotero, like any program, needs to be able to write to its own data folder. You need to make sure that your Zotero data directory and all files within are writable by your user account. You should be able to fix this,…

What exactly do you mean by "When I removed the syncing to reset everything from start"? When you unlink your sync account, it asks if you want to remove local data. If you don't, your database remains completely intact and nothing is deleted. If y…

The iOS app isn't yet localized, but it will be in an upcoming version.

Can you provide a Debug ID for unsubscribing and syncing?
-
That shows a successful sync, with nothing to upload. What isn't syncing?

It looks like you moved a bunch of items to the trash today. Otherwise, no items in your online library have been deleted in >2 months. So the possibilities would be 1) it's the items in the trash, 2) you did something to delete items back in De…

That would be something about whatever F: is. Best we can suggest is to move your data directory back to the local disk.
-
We would need a crash report from Windows.
-
Instead of using AI to generate a post, please just explain the problem in your own words and share some screenshots and a link to the PDF so we can understand what you're actually describing. This is very likely just due to a bad text layer in a pa…

What Word version? If it doesn't happen in a new document, you'll need to follow the troubleshooting steps, and specifically the last step, to isolate the problem.
-
Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it and then report the problem to the plugin's developer.
-
For problems with a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer. You're getting connection timeouts from a third-party server that one of your plugins is using.
-
You know this is a built-in feature? https://www.zotero.org/blog/zotero-8/#reader-appearance-panel-with-theme-support (And there was a setting for this in Zotero 7 too.)

You might have run the beta before the Recently Read update. Doesn't really matter — this is 100% caused by running the beta with Recently Read and then going back to production, and the fix would be to go back to the beta until Z9 comes out.
-
If you recently ran the beta on this Linux database, this is expected. The beta updates the database in a way that causes it to permanently start receiving the timestamp for the Recently Read feature, even if you then downgrade to the production ver…

Again, if you get incorrect data from a site, you should report it.

The point is to strongly encourage you to save via the browser: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/509902/#Comment_509902 Other than a site no longer being online, there is essentially no reason you should ever create a webpage item manu…

You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.
-
Have you run the beta on that Linux database?
-
(Please don't create duplicate threads for the same issue. I've merged this back into this thread.) The server was rejecting delete requests that included invalid object keys. That wasn't necessary, and we've now changed it to just ignore them. If…

Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup, using the Help → Debug Output Logging → "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
-
See Changes Not Syncing. The account you're posting from has never had any data in it.
-
She can email support@zotero.org with details.

It should work in general, but ISBNs may not work well right now. WorldCat, one of the main sources of ISBN metadata, has gotten more aggressive at blocking automated lookups, so ISBNs for which there isn't metadata elsewhere sometimes can't be reso…

You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need. But you should start by updating to Zotero 8 via Help → Check for Updates. Zotero 7 is no longer supported.

@zwigder: That's a macOS bug that happens after app updates. Unrelated to this specific fix. https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/safari_compatibility#extension_not_showing_up_save_button_missing_or_flickering
-
Are other settings saved? Generally this would be caused by something preventing Zotero from saving the prefs.js file in your Zotero profile folder.
