Does restarting Zotero fix it?
-
We just don't parse values out of Extra for file renaming. That's not something we do in general. We're transferring those to real fields when they become available, but it's primarily just a citeproc-js hack. (I think one of the few exceptions is r…

@lunitaat: PsycInfo or PsycInfo via Ovid? This is a known issue with RIS PsycInfo exports from Ovid (and has been one many years). We've reported it to Ovid, but as far as we know they haven't yet fixed it.
-
We always need an example URL for problems with saving. If you're having trouble saving across many sites, see Troubleshooting Problems Saving to Zotero.
-
In the latest beta, after you've activated Read Aloud, you can now more easily start reading at a specific location by hovering over a paragraph and then clicking anywhere around the headphone icon in the margin. (You can still right-click somewhere…

@MPlawiuk: You haven't been blocked, but you have multiple failures for your email address and username. That just means you're using the wrong password. You can reset your password if you're having trouble.
-
In the latest Zotero beta, group admins can configure file-renaming settings for the group that will be synced to all group members.
-
Zotero obviously doesn't add Facebook tracking parameters to links you save. It's just using embedded metadata, and the og:url on the Google Docs page includes that parameter: I don't know if that's something Google is doing (I'm not sure why it…

Either is fine. @RisingPh0enix, you may have just gotten temporarily blocked due to too many incorrect attempts. Try again now.
-
Exactly what it says there. They either never existed on this computer and haven't synced from another computer or something on your computer deleted them on disk outside of Zotero.

https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/data_directory_in_cloud_storage_folder (You would've had to click through a warning to store your data directory there.)
-
https://www.zotero.org/support/forum_guidelines#etiquette You can both create and delete highlights on any device. If you're confused by something, provide some screenshots of what you're looking at and we can help.
-
@pastorpflores: We'd appreciate if you would take this tool down and replace the README with instructions for repairing the broken database. As we say, external tools should never modify the database directly. Simply fixing this problem is not suffi…

I'm not sure what you're reporting here, but we'd need to see a screenshot in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), and you'll need to explain exactly what the problem is that you're showing us.
-
As noted on that page, if you send the smallest possible excerpt that reproduces the problem to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread, we can take a look.
-
Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing this, using the Help → Debug Output Logging → "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
-
I'm afraid we don't have any other answer here. Something on your system is preventing Zotero from accessing that folder properly, even after you delete it. Security software seems the most likely.
-
If you're using a non-English locale, the string might not have been updated yet.
-
But that does show the same error, so this is something on your system. You'll need to figure out what's blocking Zotero from reading from that folder.
-
That's a Report ID, not what I asked for.
-
You're no longer getting the same error. Can you delete the folder again and provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup, using the Help → Debug Output Logging → "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
-
We can think about this.
-
It's not possible to restore groups, sorry. Anyone who already had access to the group could keep an archived copy locally, and that could be used to reconstruct a new library, but if they didn't have the files downloaded — or they were never uploa…

(Please only post ids here, not the full output. We'll excerpt relevant parts as necessary.) There's something wrong with your translators folder. You can try just deleting it. This could also be caused by security software on your computer.
-
Nothing odd there. How long did you wait?
-
Still likely caused by a plugin. Can you share some more screenshots? What exactly you're looking at and what you see in the right-hand pane after clicking on one of those attachment items?
-
That wouldn't have fixed anything. You likely just needed to reload the page after the translator updated.
-
OK, and another Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for reloading the ScienceDirect page and trying to save?
-
Can you go to Tools → Developer → Run JavaScript and run this, and let us know the result? return (await Zotero.Translators.get("b6d0a7a-d076-48ae-b2f0-b6de28b194e")).lastUpdated;

What exactly are you dragging? When dragging an item from the items list, Shift-drag should be the same as Ctrl-Shift-A. But if you're dragging an annotation — which it sounds like you may be, if you're getting a page number (and based on your oth…
