Two of your group libraries are open public groups, which can't have files.

Can you provide some screenshots that show the problem?

Actually, you're both specifically on outdated versions of iOS 16. The app currently requires 16.6 or later. Update iOS to at least the latest version of iOS 16 and you'll be offered the current version of the app. (You really don't want to be runni…

@grafmaxi, @poojapaode: You're running outdated versions of the app. Update to the current version from the App Store and make sure you have automatic app updates enabled.

Can you reproduce this in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”)? And after restarting your computer? Is this an institutional computer?
-
No, this is just a misunderstanding. (but see Meyer et al., 2020) 1) You can use the Prefix and Suffix fields for this. You almost never need to manually edit a citation. See Customizing Citations. 2) The classic citation dialog included an editor,…

Can you provide a Debug ID for reproducing this? Can you open the files normally within Zotero?
-
Check for a .parentlock file in your Zotero profile folder and delete it if it’s there.
-
Yes, Zotero would have migrated those to the new field, unless BBT does something to change or override that.
-
the Zotero update wiped all my cite keys A Zotero update did not do this. Zotero migrated all fields in Extra to new fields that were added — that's it. Any special logic involving Citation Key is BBT.
-
This is a BBT dialog. (A Zotero dialog would never refer to a specific third-party plugin.)
-
Right, I'm asking you to try the Zotero beta, which includes WebDAV changes, and tell us whether it still happens. If so, we'd want a Debug ID, which is different from a Report ID.
-
Just to be clear, we don't have anything to do with BBT. If you have a question or feedback for the BBT developer, you should submit it to them on GitHub.
-
Does this happen for all PDFs or only some? Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for reproducing it?
-
Does this happen with the Zotero beta? If so, we'd want to see a Debug ID for a sync attempt that triggers the error.
-
I'm not clear what you're asking here? This is just displaying standalone notes in your library. Why would they be hidden, and what does this have to do with the cursor?
-
Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup, using the Help → Debug Output Logging → "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
-
See Zotero Toolbar Doesn't Appear and the platform-specific steps linked from there, and if you're still having trouble, let us know exactly what you tried, in your own words, and what happened at each step. You seem to have .dotm files in a custom…

No indication of a problem there. I would try updating Windows to the latest version and see if that helps.
-
Yes, that one was correct. But I'm confused: you said it freezes when you add the comment, which is why I asked for output up until right before you add it. But you're capturing the adding, which means it's not actually freezing immediately. So the…

I really can't say it more clearly that I did the very first time: Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for Zotero startup up through right before you do the action that freezes, using the Help → Debug Output Logging → "Restart wi…

(You don't think adding comments to annotations is a feature people use? I promise you many, many people add comments to annotations.)
-
I mean, that's just not what I asked for. I asked for debug output for Zotero startup, by going to Help → Debug Output Logging and choosing "Restart with Logging Enabled…". That's just not what you're providing.
-
(And no, no one else has reported anything like this, so if you'd like this fixed, you'll need to work with us to investigate the problem.)
-
As I say, you should submit the output immediately before the performing the action that causes the freeze. We just need to actually see a Debug ID for Zotero startup through that point, which isn't what you provided. I gave you the exact menu optio…
