What do you mean by "custom columns"? If you're referring to functionality from a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer. (They can report bugs to us elsewhere if there's some specific technical problem in Zotero.)

@bwiernik: It's the other way around, no? The web style is out of date, from before this change. It looks like those styles aren't currently updating properly. We'll fix.

Sorry, it actually wasn't fixed in 7.0.2-beta.2. Try 7.0.2-beta.3.

Can you reproduce this in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins? If so, are you seeing this for all PDFs, or only a specific PDF? If only a specific PDF, send to support@zotero.org …

1. Regarding “I found out that Zotero does not allow you to create multiple RDF files,” I was talking about the Zotero software I installed does not have a “New File” function. You definitely don't mean "RDF files" here — I'm not sure where you got…

The iOS app doesn't yet support EPUBs, but that's coming soon.

I mean, ransomware would be an option, I guess? Otherwise, some sort of encryption software from the hard drive manufacturer running on the old computer? And you're missing the equivalent software on the new machine? One way or another, this isn't …

Zotero 6 is still available from the download page under "Other versions".

Looks like it: https://github.com/wileyyugioh/zotmoov/issues/39#issuecomment-2295407680

How exactly did you back up the file? The file you uploaded looks like it's encrypted — there's an XML header referring to the Microsoft Cryptographic API and possibly PGP. Did you make some sort of encrypted backup but then not do a decryption proc…

We'll fix — thanks.

This should be fixed in 7.0.2-beta.2.

-
@burakgurlek: This should be fixed in the latest Zotero beta. Could you test? You can switch back to the release version afterward.

@haraldaa: Fixed in 7.0.2-beta.2. (The Norwegian locale may or may not have an updated string yet.)
-
@k_yatoo: In the latest Zotero beta, we've increased the line height in the Abstract field, which should make it easier to read. The change will be in Zotero 7.0.2.

Sorry, to clarify, this might actually be Cisco Secure Endpoint (formerly AMP for Endpoints), not Cisco Secure Client. The latter is closer to a VPN, which wouldn't seem to be relevant here, though it's a little unclear — Cisco Secure Client may hav…

You may have accidentally flattened the citations. You can find instructions on how to check here: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/existing_citations_not_detected

We've received other reports of Cisco Secure Endpoint causing this: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/116762/zotero-7-wont-open-on-windows Merging with that thread for further debugging.
-
@jcachat: File → "Import…" is for importing bibliographic data. You add EPUBs on your computer like any other local file — dragging into Zotero or using the Add Attachment → "Add File…" option in the Zotero 7 toolbar.
-
@elwom: Have you tried the same thing? Switching Zotero to run in Windows 8 compatibility mode, running Zotero, and then turning compatibility mode off?
-
Have you used Zotero previously on this Mac, or have you transferred files from another Mac where you used it? Can you make a ZIP of your Zotero profile folder and email it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread? After that, try deleting…

No, not at all — 5.0.144 includes a fix, thanks to your report.

Yes, we'd be curious to see the logs — if possible, please send them to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread. But this will most likely be on them to fix.
