Congrats and many thanks to the Zotero team!
-
Thank you for the insight. However, I want to confirm, is it possible to secondary email address from the account?
-
If I add my institutional email and if it doesn't provide Zotero storage, will I be able to remove the institutional email from the account and keep my original email ?

I am now getting ~12-13 seconds with latest version of BBT enabled. I am getting around ~6-7 seconds until I see the app launch with BBT disabled. Note, when I say "app launch" I mean that I see Zotero window open but it is not fully done loading ev…

After disabling BBT, the launch time was reduced to ~6-7 seconds. Debug ID: D734872114

I have annotations in a PDF which contains tags. The tag selector shows me the newly tags. However, when I select the desired tag, no items are displayed. Is it possible to show which item's PDF annotations contains the selected tag?

I got the script working on. It seems there were some new changes introduced after reading this, https://retorque.re/zotero-better-bibtex/citing/migrating/. The new modified script: https://gist.githubusercontent.com/01baftb/dc769574b29891263588a8…

I agree, that is what I am using now. Just curious if there are any plans to incorporate this feature natively in Zotero 6?
-
It would be great to have a feature where all items that are cited in Word (using Zotero) can be automatically selected in Zotero so we can drag those items into a new collection.
-
It seems the previous modded script I posted no longer works. Maybe it stopped working after upgrading to Zotero 6? I am getting errors like below: \cite{[CSL STYLE ERROR: reference with no printed form.]}

Thanks for the insight. I understand the issue is on the journal end and not Zotero. Currently whenever I see this issue, I just manually add using DOI and merge with previous item. Another journal is Small Methods. E.g. article: https://onlinelib…

I am reporting a related issue to the translator for Science. When saving an article on Science Advances using the Zotero Connector, the collected metadata about the article are incomplete. For example, the year field is missing. If I manually add t…

@rfolmer I think you should use version from the main repo's master branch found here: https://github.com/retorquere/zotero-file-hierarchy. I am using this version without issues.

When you say "seems a bit dangerous", I assume you are referring to battery life and or security of the device since the screen will not get locked. When reading a PDF using the Acrobat app on iOS, there is a toggle option to "Keep screen on" found …

emilianoeheyns: Super sorry for doing @ to you. In case anyone is interested, the modified CSL (link below) will insert the \cite command to the inline cite keys. https://pastebin.com/raw/XdwL4Vq3

@emilianoheyns Thanks for the quick response and pointing me to the correct section of the code I need to modify. I drafted a modification to your posted custom CSL. I modified line 51 and 53. Can you please confirm if this code is correct: https://…

@emilianoheyns Similar to original author of this thread, I am trying to transfer content of my Word doc to LaTex document. I also read another similar thread here https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/56462/in-line-citation-with-as-citekey-for-easi…

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2214860421003857 If I go to the main article page for the example article link above, and then click on Zotero Connector, Zotero finds all the metadata properly and also extracts the PDF. This meth…

Hi. I am following up to see if this feature request is being considered.
-
@dstillman Regarding my previous post and your request (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/377827/#Comment_377827) the issue is resolved with the latest beta update.
-
@b.n.lawrence I do not see Zotero available in Share to options menu.
-
Thank you and great job to the dev team! Just started testing the beta. One feature I think is missing is the ability to save content in one of the iOS browsers and add it as an item in the Zotero app (i.e. Zotero Connector).
-
@ttuttle Thanks for sharing Ref Extractor. It works for me!!! +1 for the need of this feature as a plugin or native feature in Zotero. Example use case: I have written a manuscript in Word with citations using Zotero. I need to some way for a co…

@passerine In addition to @bwiernik response, here is another solution https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/340693/#Comment_340693

@emilianoeheyns Thanks for the update. I just want to confirm you guys don't need additional logs or troubleshooting steps on my end? It is my understanding you guys are waiting on Frank to provide input on how to handle situations like these?
-
Ahh now I understand. Thank you for clarification.

I added the item using Add Item(s) by Identifier, and specified the DOI as 10.1021/jz400052e. The resulting item that was created had the following title: Quantum Dot Solar Cells. The Next Big Thing in Photovoltaics. Second approach: If I am vi…

@dstillman I just wanted to bring to your attention this issue after your recent commit https://github.com/zotero/zotero/commit/53e5abc6cbe0b1e8ddf78eee00cea6b521aaeaa2

Is it possible to save supplementary data for Science journal? I set the "translators.attachSupplementary" preference to "true" in Zotero v5.0.66, however, it is still not saving supplementary data for Science journals. I tried using Zotero Conn…

Edit 1 Debug ID: D129931284 I can once again confirm the teleportation issue is occurring for sure. I previous had doubts the issue was related to my mouse hardware issue, however, I can confirm my mouse is NOT the issue. I changed the my mouse an…
