Generally, their guidelines online are not the worst. Referring to this: https://libguides.westminster.ac.uk/c.php?g=666541&p=4733712 and this: https://www.westminster.ac.uk/sites/default/public-files/general-documents/Referencing Your Work book…

Ah. Hadn't looked into that yet. Where do you see that in the guidelines? I can't find anything.

Let's start with the new style I just finished reworking. Right click, save as, install in Zotero either via double click or via the menu: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citation-style-language/styles/d40bb97c589e1da436870c5998db6201a35cd6ee/harv…

I had two very specific questions: 1. Can you make sure you have the style correctly selected under "Document Preferences"? 2. Also, try this in a fresh new document with just the two citations that should disambiguate. You can upload images to Dro…

You're mixing a lot of issues here. You'll have your Westminster style shortly, wait for it. In the meantime, my initial questions are still open that should help us troubleshoot this. ;)

I am currently completely remaking the style. It is veeery low quality. You now mentioned errors in the style, but actually nothing regarding your initial problem. Let's figure that out on your side and I´ll take care of the actual style. (you can…

Editing manually is certainly not the right way. The citations disambiguation is done by the citation style. I just tested this out and the style has the right setting and does this correctly. Test Citation: (Accadia et al., 2012b, pP03012) (Accadi…

Can you post your code to hastebin/pastebin and put the link here? I'm sure you just introduced a little mistake like not closing some tags or something with your edits.
-
1. What text processor are you using? 2. What format is the file in? 3. How are you inserting citations?
-
I'll make a custom style for the journal. Give it a day or two and I'll post it here. (eISSN: 1918-1345)
-
That is set by the citation style and can be edited there. Is there a mistake in a journal/publisher-specific style or is that just for personal use?
-
Take the screenshot, upload it to Dropbox or imageupload.net (or one of those) and post the link.

I've submitted a fix, but will let @bwiernik and @adamsmith sign it off. Bwiernik is our APA boss.
-
That makes sense, adamsmith. Thanks @Defarhes, @GFV17, @jesstro. While we are waiting on Rintze's input, I have suggested a fix. You can get the no-et-al style here. Right click, save as, install in Zotero: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citatio…

Hi, Thank you for reporting this issue. I have submitted a fix. In the meantime you can get the style here. Right click, save as, install in Zotero: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/raw/ab45963e0793d7eee94977c823a3c0b8d48e5ff9/ame…

Gibt es bereits: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:medical-education Ist auch in dem Guide erklaert: "Requesting a New Style 1. First, make sure the style you're requesting isn't already available. The easiest way to check this is to search the…

Dependent style now available: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:journal-of-international-academy-of-physical-therapy-research

The new guidelines are here, but that guide is not giving any examples how citations should look like. No example publication/paper was given to base the style on. (in-text citations: (Campbell and Pedersen 2007) )
-
"Einfach" die Jahreszahl da zu versetzen, ist es leider nicht bei AMA. Etwas involviert. Für was ist denn dieser Stil denn genau? Ich würde es erst mal mit dieser Suchmaschine probieren, um was passenderes yu finden. https://editor.citationstyles.…
-
If you have already done the legwork of making the style you can contribute it to the repository: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md
-
That is quite involved to make those changes since it is APA which is a very complex style. Does it have to be APA?
-
Alright. So with that Word>GDocs>Word action you unlinked your citations since you didn't use that method described in the documentation I linked. You could use the Word Compare Documents functionality to merge those changes of the text in if…
-
I am not following then. I assumed you were writing the file with GoogleDocs to begin with and had the citations inserted in there with Zotero.
-
1. And in the GoogleDocs file the citations are still active?
-
Do you have other citations in your document by "Jansson"? APA adds names to be able to disambiguate between citations. (and elsevier-harvard does not have "disambiguate-add-names" active, so that's why you don't get it there).
-
1. See https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/existing_citations_not_detected Did you save the document in an unsupported format? 2. Not 100% sure what's happening here and what the problem is. Can you a) explain in more detail (and with other words) an…
