@_volker_ Yes, please send the whole RDF file.
-
@erazlogo Markup that isn't supported in Zotero note editor will be stripped.
-
@hayhayhay It might help if you directly report the issue to https://github.com/mozilla/pdf.js/issues , with screenshots and example PDFs. I mean the issue you see on https://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/web/viewer.html , because eventually we will up…
-
@hayhayhay Does the problem exist if you open the PDF file with https://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/web/viewer.html ?
-
@_volker_ Could you export this note to HTML (Right click on note item and then Export Note…), and send to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
Please send an example PDF to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.
-
We are aware of the issue and it should be fixed later this year.
-
Can you open the PDF file with any other PDF viewer and then copy text somewhere to see if it is correct or not? If it isn't, then there is no way to fix that, and it's PDF a file issue.
-
@hayhayhay Could you send the PDF file to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread? @ambulate Most likely your issue is already fixed and should be available in one of upcoming Zotero releases.
-
-
This seems fixed in newer PDF.js versions. We'll upgrade to a newer version later this year.
-
At 00:11, for a fraction of second, an empty conflict resolution dialog appears and makes PDF reader to loose focus. Although no idea why it appears.
-
Could you record and upload a video demonstrating the issue? I can't reproduce it.
-
We'll investigate — thanks.
-
We need at least one PDF page to diagnose the problem. Could you send it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
Do File → Save As and print the saved PDF in another PDF viewer.
-
We're aware of the issue. Thanks for reporting.
-
This will be fixed in one of the upcoming Zotero updates. Thanks for reporting.
-
If you want a code block, you should pick "Monospace" from the formatting popup in the toolbar. ` is for inline code. We could consider making ``` creating a code block.
-
@BeautyG How are you inserting images if copying and pasting doesn't work? Can you show a screenshot demonstrating those too small images?
-
Could you show a screenshot demonstrating the issue?
-
Have you copied those highlights from Word to Zotero notes, or you were just highlighting text directly in Zotero notes?
-
@-william- We still can't reproduce the issue. Most likely the highlights were made some time ago. Do you still get an incorrect page number if you create a new highlight in the same page?
-
First, immediately go into your Zotero data directory and make a backup of all .sqlite and .bak files. Now do you mean all the text that was in your notes disappeared and they are completely empty? Next, regarding the copying to Word, we will fix …
-
@kevintaylor Could you send us the PDF file from https://doi.org/10.1002/csr.1786 , because the version I can access actually has page numbers starting from 1. You can send it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.
-
@-william- Could you make a screenshot demonstrating that Zotero PDF reader has an incorrect page number, because we can't reproduce that with the PDF you provided.
-
We will fix the keyboard shortcuts issue. Thanks for reporting. There are a few formatting options, you just need to select text and a popup will show up.
-
Note annotations, that are added to Zotero note items, are inserted as plain text and don't have any reference back to the note annotation. The same applies when exporting to Markdown. So, at the moment, this is by design.
-
Could you open your PDF file in this online PDF viewer (you can drag and drop your file) https://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/web/viewer.html and test if the search works correctly?
-
@-william- Please send us the PDF file if you think it had a correct page number when using Zotfile but now doesn't have in Zotero 6. You can send it to support@zotero.org also including a link to this thread.
