Hi, thank you for the report. To help us investigate could you please do the following on the page where error shows: Open browser console (on Firefox on macOS that's ⌘ + ⌥ + K)Paste the following command: localStorage.getItem("zotero-web-library-pr…

There isn't really any good way to do this using web library, but Zotero (desktop app) has a built-in importer. After importing, if you use sync, items will also appear in your web library.
-
Please post technical discussions to Zotero Dev group. Also bear in mind that we don't offer support for integrating Web Library with specific architectures.

No, you can see available columns in the column selector (icon in the top-right corner of the items table, or right-click on any column in Zotero Beta) but there isn't one for a collection name. Please bear in mind that an item can belong to many co…

If you select a collection from the tree on the left, it will only show items from that collection. Here are some support articles about working with Zotero collections: What ways can I organize and manage my collections?Collections and Tags

Items that are not in any collection can be found in the Unfiled Items. You can use advanced search to search for items that are not in a specific collection (but might belong to other collections). how do I import times into a specific collection.…

We've deployed a new version of Web Library where it's now possible to save attachments to disk instead of depending on automatic browser behavior. When you open attachment details, you should be able to right-click on "Filename" and use "Save link…

We've deployed a new version, this issue should be resolved now.

In both Zotero and Web Library item can belong to multiple collections or none at all. Deleting an item means removing it from your library (so it won't appear in "My Library" or any collection), therefore it correctly appears in trash and only ther…

When dragging an item and hovering over a collection there should be a "plus" icon appearing next to a dragged item to indicate that a copy will take place. In Web Library it's currently not possible to move an item with drag-and-drop, this feature…

This seems to be due to recent changes in iOS Safari popup blocker. We're testing a fix which will be deployed shortly.

It sounds like you're not running a recent beta release of Zotero, you can check by selecting "Help"->"About Zotero", version is mentioned underneath the logo, it should say something like "5.0.97-beta". You can download latest beta build from h…

In the Web Library, on a touch device like iPad, you need to switch to "select" mode (button near top-right), select items, then use icons from the bottom toolbar to generate bibliography or citations for selected items (second and third icon from t…

Please see steps listed here: changes not syncing.

There seems to be a problem server-side, we will look into it. In normal circumstances, when loading web library, Zotero 'Z' should only appear for a couple of seconds or so.
-
It is planned but we cannot say when exactly it will happen yet.
-
hey @erichkaestner, thanks for your feedback on performance, which part of the interface would you say feels sluggish? Is it the fact that you see placeholders while waiting for items to load? Also what browser are you using?
-
It's a button in the toolbar, located between "export" and "create bibliography". Please remember that this conversation is about the Web Library, a browser-based version of Zotero.

Unfortunately there is currently no option to explicitly request file download (instead of opening it) in the Web Library, it's a deficiency in the UI and we will look into it. Issue created.

Generally speaking, for security reasons, streaming a video from Web Library is not supported. I'm not sure how you open the file in the VLC but your best bet is to let the browser download the file normally and open it then, or just use Zotero (des…

I am not sure if it is relevant, but I see very odd behavior when I view my online library with a web browser (Firefox 91.0.2). "All Items" sometimes shows all of the records, but often when I scroll a bit, they all disappear except for the topmost …

I believe zotero.org/save should work for PubMed URL, could you please provide an example that doesn't work? Also did you try the Web Library? It should work well on Android and it has the same capability as zotero.org/save ("Add by Identifier" fro…

Unfortunately this is not yet supported in the Web Library.

Thanks, we should have a better message there, issue created.

To see your files in the Web Library, you need to use Zotero Storage. The Web Library doesn't know anything about your WebDAV server.

Currently there are no such plans for the Web Library but if there is enough demand for it we would consider it. Web Library has been designed mainly as a tool for accessing your library when away from your main computer. Zotero, a program that you…

Deleting an attachment actually moves it to trash. If viewed in Web Library it appears like a top-level attachment in trash but if you recover it, it will be moved back under the parent item from which it has been deleted. In Zotero it will appear i…

Unfortunately there is no such functionality. It might be worth mentioning that "bottom" pane only appears only if your browser window is relatively small - either if you're on a computer (most likely a laptop) with small screen or if your browser i…
