From what I can tell "Researcher" app syncs "bookmarks" that you create in that app with Zotero in the background. I.e. once you bookmark something in the app, it should just appear in Zotero (and web library in Firefox) shortly after. I don't see a…

Does the web library work on the same device when you use a web browser like Chrome?
-
Are you by any chance trying to do that in Web Library, a web based version of Zotero? Currently you need to use Zotero, an application that you download and install on your computer, to add items to "My Publications".
-
1. Main issue: the online version of Zotero no longer scrolls down to show the item. I.e. if the item I am looking for is on the top of the list it is selected and shown. But if the item is down the list beyond the screen I cannot see it even though…

Specifically for "My Publications" you could try this library though it is relatively limited in customization available and might not be flexible enough for your needs.
-
You can change this behaviour to move between collections by holding ⌘ on macOS or Shift on Windows and Linux during drag.
-
Yes, this feature is generally planned but we don't have a date yet.
-
The best way to do that would be to install Zotero on the new machine and setup sync. If that's not an option for some reason, you can use web library to export items to RIS format - there is a button in the toolbar (one with an arrow pointing up) …

Thank you for confirming. I've tried to reproduce this using Chrome on few Android devices, including a Samsung Tab S4, and every time I can see file browser that lets me pick any file from my device. Could you please provide a screenshot or, idea…

Just to clarify: what you've described happens on a web version of Zotero, i.e. Web Library? When editing an item, you try to add an attachment using "Add File Attachment" option, correct? What should happen next is your mobile browser should show …

Hi, Thanks for the report, indeed the error you see is not ideal. Please try to enter "now" or "today" and it should hopefully do what you're trying to achieve. Entering a date (and time if needed) in YYYY-MM-DD[ hh:mm:ss] format should also work. …

Based on the fact that Firefox failed to execute `localStorage.clear()` I suspect this is an issue with your browser and not web library. If the problem lies with Firefox, other pages may also be affected. For example, on this page you can pick a c…

Has this fixed itself and then broke again or did you use a different computer when you said it was working? Can you see your library if you use another browser (e.g. Safari)?
-
Hi, thank you for the report. To help us investigate could you please do the following on the page where error shows: Open browser console (on Firefox on macOS that's ⌘ + ⌥ + K)Paste the following command: localStorage.getItem("zotero-web-library-pr…

There isn't really any good way to do this using web library, but Zotero (desktop app) has a built-in importer. After importing, if you use sync, items will also appear in your web library.
-
Please post technical discussions to Zotero Dev group. Also bear in mind that we don't offer support for integrating Web Library with specific architectures.
-
No, you can see available columns in the column selector (icon in the top-right corner of the items table, or right-click on any column in Zotero Beta) but there isn't one for a collection name. Please bear in mind that an item can belong to many co…

If you select a collection from the tree on the left, it will only show items from that collection. Here are some support articles about working with Zotero collections: What ways can I organize and manage my collections?Collections and Tags

Items that are not in any collection can be found in the Unfiled Items. You can use advanced search to search for items that are not in a specific collection (but might belong to other collections). how do I import times into a specific collection.…

We've deployed a new version of Web Library where it's now possible to save attachments to disk instead of depending on automatic browser behavior. When you open attachment details, you should be able to right-click on "Filename" and use "Save link…

We've deployed a new version, this issue should be resolved now.

In both Zotero and Web Library item can belong to multiple collections or none at all. Deleting an item means removing it from your library (so it won't appear in "My Library" or any collection), therefore it correctly appears in trash and only ther…

When dragging an item and hovering over a collection there should be a "plus" icon appearing next to a dragged item to indicate that a copy will take place. In Web Library it's currently not possible to move an item with drag-and-drop, this feature…

This seems to be due to recent changes in iOS Safari popup blocker. We're testing a fix which will be deployed shortly.

It sounds like you're not running a recent beta release of Zotero, you can check by selecting "Help"->"About Zotero", version is mentioned underneath the logo, it should say something like "5.0.97-beta". You can download latest beta build from h…

In the Web Library, on a touch device like iPad, you need to switch to "select" mode (button near top-right), select items, then use icons from the bottom toolbar to generate bibliography or citations for selected items (second and third icon from t…

Please see steps listed here: changes not syncing.

There seems to be a problem server-side, we will look into it. In normal circumstances, when loading web library, Zotero 'Z' should only appear for a couple of seconds or so.

It is planned but we cannot say when exactly it will happen yet.
