hey @erichkaestner, thanks for your feedback on performance, which part of the interface would you say feels sluggish? Is it the fact that you see placeholders while waiting for items to load? Also what browser are you using?
-
It's a button in the toolbar, located between "export" and "create bibliography". Please remember that this conversation is about the Web Library, a browser-based version of Zotero.
-
Unfortunately there is currently no option to explicitly request file download (instead of opening it) in the Web Library, it's a deficiency in the UI and we will look into it. Issue created.

Generally speaking, for security reasons, streaming a video from Web Library is not supported. I'm not sure how you open the file in the VLC but your best bet is to let the browser download the file normally and open it then, or just use Zotero (des…

I am not sure if it is relevant, but I see very odd behavior when I view my online library with a web browser (Firefox 91.0.2). "All Items" sometimes shows all of the records, but often when I scroll a bit, they all disappear except for the topmost …

I believe zotero.org/save should work for PubMed URL, could you please provide an example that doesn't work? Also did you try the Web Library? It should work well on Android and it has the same capability as zotero.org/save ("Add by Identifier" fro…

Unfortunately this is not yet supported in the Web Library.

Thanks, we should have a better message there, issue created.

To see your files in the Web Library, you need to use Zotero Storage. The Web Library doesn't know anything about your WebDAV server.
-
Currently there are no such plans for the Web Library but if there is enough demand for it we would consider it. Web Library has been designed mainly as a tool for accessing your library when away from your main computer. Zotero, a program that you…

Deleting an attachment actually moves it to trash. If viewed in Web Library it appears like a top-level attachment in trash but if you recover it, it will be moved back under the parent item from which it has been deleted. In Zotero it will appear i…

Unfortunately there is no such functionality. It might be worth mentioning that "bottom" pane only appears only if your browser window is relatively small - either if you're on a computer (most likely a laptop) with small screen or if your browser i…

This has been fixed now, thank you again for letting us know!

Indeed seems like a bug, thank you for reporting. We will fix it.
-
Thank you for reporting an issue. Filtering by tag works in general so this is most likely something related to your library and/or browser. Could you please let us know: * Does this happen for every tag in any view (e.g. collection, search) or onl…

Thank you, I'll need to ask @dstillman for help with this so please bear with us while we investigate the issue.
-
Forgot to mention that, but we will also need a group library name

Could you provide an example of a keyword and the item key of an attachment that matches in Zotero but not in Web Library? It should match the content of the PDF, not on any of the fields. To find the item key of an attachment: right-click on it in…

You don't need to load all items to do search, there is a search input on the top of the Web Library - it runs the search on the server and presents only matching items. Also items pane shouldn't freeze. You should be able to grab the scrollbar of …

You can see your entire library in Zotero (the desktop app) provided that you've already synced, which, for library of this size, can take a few minutes first time. Web library is mainly designed for accessing your Zotero library when away from you…
-
You need to copy your data from the old computer to the new or alternatively use Zotero sync. Latter option might require storage subscription. See: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/transferring_a_library

"Title, Creator, Year + Full-Text Content" mode in the Web Library should search content of the PDF. Are you the owner of the group? If you click on the PDF in Zotero (desktop app), does it say "Indexed: Yes" on the right-hand side pane? Did you syn…

Web Library doesn't have "everywhere" method, it has "Title, Creator, Year + Full-Text Content". That's a significant difference and hence you see different results. Unfortunately it's not currently possible to perform "Everything" search in the we…

Thanks for letting us know, we will fix in the next release.

We're happy to help but we need more details to investigate the issue. For start please tell us where do you see this message? Is this in the Web Library (linked at the top of this page)? What usually triggers the message? Could you possible upload…

I mean try to quit Zotero, for example by pressing ⌘+Q when app is visible, and then start it again.
-
Switching Zotero off and on again should help. If it doesn't help please provide a debug id.
-
I'm not sure what exactly you're trying to achieve. To obtain a URL that points to a particular item in Zotero Web Library, you should be able to just select that item (in Web Library) and copy the URL from the browser. If this doesn't help, please…

By default Zotero will only store your data locally, to see it in web library you need to setup sync. Also, once you setup sync, you should see group libraries you've joined in your desktop app. You can then also choose which group libraries should…
