Does this happen if both PDFs are annotated in Zotero?
-
I have some questions for you. 1. Were the references created with Zotero? 2. Are the citations active? 3. Are you working from the same Zotero (Group) Library?
-
die einzelnen Kapitel sollten in Zotero keinen eigenen Eintrag haben. Unless they are chapters in an edited volume, with **different** authors. ***Then*** you would use Book Section.
-
I had the same question once, and @bwiernik responded: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/105296/add-item-from-reference-list-in-article#latest See if that works for you. I'll leave the second question for someone more knowledgeable.

Ok, thanks!

"Unlink citations" hace justo eso...rompe los vinculos entre el documento y Zotero. Que yo sepa, no hay forma de "revincularlas". ¿Tienes un backup de tu documento?
-
¿Qué hiciste para "desvincular" las citas?
-
Great! Makes sense. Thanks.
-
How long have you waited? How many citations do you have?
-
Go to where you want the bibliography to appear in your document, then click on the "Add/Edit Bibliography" icon.
-
Is there a particular reference style that you use? How would you want the citation to appear?
-
@fish1, I'm not sure I totally understand what you are requesting, but it sounds like you are trying to find notes that you have made recently. You might try an Advanced Search https://www.zotero.org/support/searching#advanced_search . Instead of "…

@adamsmith: Could you also select "Unfiled Items" then select all and delete?

1. Windows 11 2. How do I get an OS crash report? 3. The only plugins (extensions?) I have are Web Threat Shield and Z connector. 4. Safe Mode with plugins disabled-No change I don't know if this Report ID will help, but here it is (right after res…

Thanks!!!

Thanks @dstillman. Deleting the items in the group and re-dragging worked (even though the files existed locally when I first dragged the items.) Anyhow...all is well. Thanks!
-
Great! Thanks.
-
Thanks @adamsmith! One curiosity remains. When I drag and drop the item from the center pane in Zotero I get exactly what I want: Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Trauma-Informed Care in Behavioral Health Services. Treat…

Thanks!

Well, that was easy. All is well. Thanks!

1. Deleted Zotero.dotm 2. Restarted word. It is gone 3. Attempting to reinstall plugin If the Zotero tab or toolbar still doesn't appear in your word processor after clicking the install button in the Zotero preferences and restarting your word pr…

Wow! As advertised. Thank you so much!

A good place to start learning about the basics of Zotero to click on the Documentation tab above. The Quick Start guide: https://www.zotero.org/support/quick_start_guide has short descriptions of Zotero's functions, as well as links to more detai…

In the Advanced Search (https://www.zotero.org/support/searching#advanced_search), you can search for "Note contains" and then leave the rest blank. I think that should give you all items that have something in a note. Does that give you what you …
-
I'm pretty sure that's a pic of a previous version of Zotero. Check out this link for how it works in Zotero 6 https://www.zotero.org/support/sorting. The 3rd paragraph is what you are looking for.

Thanks!
-
Can you post a link to the instructions you were following?
-
1. Did you refresh the document? 2. Might you have cited that work elsewhere in the document?
-
You can select the items you want, then right click/generate report from items. That will give you the item and tags, but also notes and other information. There is a Report Customizer plugin to edit the fields included in reports https://github.…

When inserting (or editing) a citation, click the item (in the red box, before actually inserting. That will open up another box and you can select "Omit Author"
