Please submit a Report ID from Safari https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems#zotero_connectors_chrome_and_safari

Well, the citations that didn't convert properly are already broken with Bookmarks. Converting those to ReferenceMarks highlights the problematic ones and allows you to do something about it. Depending on how many of them remain functional it may, o…

Out of curiosity – is development for Safari hindered by technological limitations or just not a priority? Safari uses a different extension framework than Firefox and Chrome, which does not support some advanced features, so yes, it is technologica…
-
@laylazami this is not exactly related to the problem above. But in general, if they edit your .odt file in google docs, pages or other non-OpenOffice based software (LibreOffice, OpenOffice of NeoOffice), then the link to your library will be broke…
-
You can totally use the connector for safari available here. Do note that we are slightly limited on Safari extension development and some features (such as automatic institutional proxy detection) will not be available there, so if you want the bes…

Oh. If you use Fields and they edited/reviewed using LibreOffice, then that's certainly what went wrong, as saving with LibreOffice would have lost those.
-
Which version of Firefox? If you type `about:addons` in the URL bar and go into Zotero Connector preferences, are there any errors under Advanced tab? If so, could you submit an error report and post the ID you're given here?
-
Okay, thanks again for helping with debugging. The PDF saving issue from Science Direct is specific to firefox -- sorry for not catching that. We'll push out an updated version of the connector and standalone sometime soon. I'm still not sure if th…

Do you use Zotero document preferences do you use Fields or Bookmarks? Bookmarks are (as noted in the description) much more error-prone and while this is rare, an edit in a different software, especially LibreOffice might break the connection. You…

Yeah, I've managed to reproduce it on Firefox with the latest connector, so this is something Firefox specific. Thanks for doing additional debugging @rafaqz, will take a look.
-
Finally, you're talking to a coder like I'm a total newb. I wouldn't post an issue if there wasn't a real, consequential problem with your code. Most people posting on the forums are not developers, so it is generally a fair assumption to make. No p…

Regarding ScienceDirect I couldn't reproduce the problem with the direct PDF link - seems to work fine for me. As adamsmith said, ideally you would be using the publication page rather than PDF page anyway. Regarding content on lms. Usually univers…

We'll need more context to help you https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems Generally if this doesn't happen more you can safely ignore it.
-
Generally on Windows 32-bit software is under C:\Program Files (x86) and 64-bit is under C:\Program Files. You can also look it up in the software about page, which is found under Help menus.
-
What error are you getting? If you have 32-bit LibreOffice then you need 32-bit JRE and vice-versa for 64-bit.
-
If you are getting an installation error make sure you have JRE installed and selected in libreoffice as described here
-
@fbennett this seems to be coming form citeproc. Any ideas?
-
I've been talking to people over at LibreOffice, but they seem to be pretty negligent of this. This is a very specific and isolated problem, which probably affects a lot of people that use third-party extensions, but manifests itself as an apparent …

Please keep the discussion in the original thread. It helps us better gauge the interest in features. This would be nice to have, but I am afraid it is not that high on the priority list at the moment.

Go into Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors and click (Re)Install. Restart Word. If the extension does not come up try manual installation. If that does not help either, try downloading the update template and place it in your sta…

I took a look at the snippet you sent. There seems to be some weird document property corruption. There is a way to fix it though. First make a backup of the document. Then resolve all comments in the track changes. Afterwards convert the document …

I took a look at the snippet you sent over and I'm afraid there are multiple bookmarks that have been modified and are broken. This is mainly because bookmarks are very easy to modify accidentally, especially when reviewing documents with track-chan…

There are some technical reasons that do not make it a completely straightforward change. Once again, no immediate plans, but if there is more interest from the community we will react accordingly.
-
Oh right, sorry, you're on Ubuntu. This might be different then. My machine seems to work very reliably with Ubuntu 16.10 and LO 5.3.0.3 and openjdk-8-jre. I don't think Debug Output will contain a lot of useful information, but if you can produce …

Can you provide the URL of the page you are trying to save exactly as you see it in the browser?
-
This might sound ridiculous, but have you tried pressing [Esc] when LibreOffice appears to be frozen with the window in focus? There is a bug with MacOS version of LibreOffice which fails to display prompts, but they still freeze the process until d…

What do you mean by minimized or maximized? Oh you mean collapsed? We wish to address this better, probably by allowing more general cataloguing of feeds, but there are no immediate plans for now.
-
Feel free to post - someone else might benefit from your solution too. The document sample should be enough for debugging on our end.
-
Oh right, I missed your earlier comment. Do you actually have an example URL where it consistently saves the items in Zotero, but does not show progress properly?
