[JavaScript Error: "Document modified during update @[setCode:field.m:660]" Does this happen in a new document? If you leave the document be for a while after adding a citation does it still break?
-
Oh, sorry, on a quick glance I didn't realize the ID you had submitted was from the Connector and not Zotero. Could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero? 1. In the Help menu, go to Debug Output Logging and select Enable. 2. With automatic citation up…

You are on Zotero 5.0.35. The next version introduces a significant speedup of the citing plugin if you disable automatic citation updates. You will still have to perform the final citation update which will take a long time, but it will allow you t…

Could you follow step 8 of debugging broken documents instructions and send a broken snippet to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
Any reason you are staying on Zotero 5.0.35.1? The latest version is 5.0.43. You should update and try that again.
-
You will either get a slow first insert after restarting Zotero (could take well over 20 minutes with a document this big), but subsequent citations will be pretty fast. This is unavoidable, because Zotero has to load all citations that you entered …

Restart Zotero

Could you extract a small snippet of the document with the copied reference that produces the problem and email it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?

@fbennett Seems that citeproc is having problems with html tags and the ’ character in the suffixes. Could you take a look?
-
I sent a toy example that should illustrate the behavior. Even just refreshing Zotero (without actually adding a citation) also seems to cause the behavior. This should be fixed in the latest beta and will be out with the next release. You might nee…

@Phenox which word processor? Could you submit a Report ID?
-
Go into Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors and reinstall the LibreOffice plugin, then refresh the citations in the document
-
How big is the document you are working with? How many citations? Does it happen in a new document?
-
I am not entirely sure what the problem is that you are seeing. Are you manually editing the citation text in the document to add apostrophes?
-
You should upgrade to the latest version of Word 2016, which currently is 16.10
-
Could you submit a Report ID? What version of Word?

What version of Word?

@lexybrooks does it work well in a new document? Do you have citations in tables and/or captions?
-
Do you have citations in tables and captions? Does it work fine if you remove those?
-
By crash do you mean Word closes completely? How big is the document you are working on? How many citations does it have?
-
Does it crash if you only have one Word document open at a time?
-
Please describe the issue in greater detail. See https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems

What version of Word 2011 are you on? Does every item cause issues or only specific ones?
-
What version of Word are you using? Does it work well in a new document?

Why, when I define and apply a specific style to a bibliography, does insertion of a citation still always revert the bibliography back to the default, and not only the bibliography, but the immediately following paragraph as well (which is NOT part…

If you only open a single Word document at a time, does it still crash?

You should remove the current extension that you have and restart Zotero. You probably have an old version installed from 4.0 (which you should never have done for Zotero Standalone in the first place). Once you remove it an updated version should s…
