Zotero does not work with Word 14.0.0 and MacOs 10.10.5

Hi,

I've been working on a book (more than 170 pages) with Zotero and yesterday it begun not to work.
I sent a Report (ID rapporto: 453233583).

I was trying to insert a citation but everything was stuck.
Zotero begun to refresh all the citations and than produces a lot of pages in the document full of characters like this: ☐☐☐ and others nonsense.

Last error message was:
The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus error -10000.) @[setCode:field.m:667]

I followed the first 7 passages described in "Debugging broken documents".

Can you fix it?

    Does this happen in a new document? If you leave the document be for a while after adding a citation does it still break?

    I tried to use Zotero with a completely new document and it runs normally.

    I duplicated my original document and it is still not working.
    The last error message is the following:

    The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus error -1712.) @[displayAlert:document.m:186]

    Then eliminate some citations that provoke problem (they were modified) and I tried to insert a new citation.
    This was the aswer:
    Si è verificato un errore di Zotero nel corso dell'aggiornamento del documento.

    You will need to follow step 8 of the debugging broken documents instructions.

    I found and deleted the citation that were not working in the original document.

    Then I set the preferences in order to make insert citation faster and I verified that refreshing them, they were working.

    But at a moment, when I was looking in my browser a citation to insert, everything went wrong and in Word started to appear a lot of ☐☐☐☐ and other symbols.
    Fortunately I have not lost everything.
    But the real surprising thing is that everything happens when I was not working on Word nor Zotero...they were just open.

    The last message I found in the Debug Output window was:
    [JavaScript Error: "WebSocket connection closed: 1006 "]
    [JavaScript Error: "The connection was refused when attempting to contact wss://stream.zotero.org/." {file: "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/streamer.js" line: 155}]

    Does it make sense?

    This just sounds like a Word, not Zotero, issue. A general rule of thumb for these sorts of errors is to try restarting the computer and seeing if it works better.
