As noted above, Zotmoov and Attanger both do this, replacing ZotFile in that way, but you also seem somewhat confused about file storage in Zotero: if you're using WebDAV, you want your files in the Zotero data folder rather than moved & linked.…

The style is checking for information in the Archive field to determine formatting. See https://www.zotero.org/groups/2205533/test_items_library/collections/MR2N872S/items/LJ2RP7K8/collection and the other 'thesis' items in that collection for corre…

And standard Zotero auto-updates with new versions immediately,.so the update notice would be the notification

Copyediting Reddit and I think there's a Stack site along those lines, too (I actually don't think we want to discuss style details beyond 'how do I do this in CSL/Zotero' here)

issued:2010/2011 in the extra field. You can't current do it in the date field

Zotero is based on Mozilla, so I don't think there's much of a chance of a workaround there, but your institution should be able to have more finegrained permissions.

You'd have to step back a bit -- it's not clear what you're trying to do, what you're actually doing, what you're seeing/not seeing, etc. For instructions on using the Word add-on see https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage

It's actually AMA, not Vancouver, and we have a no et al version for that: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:american-medical-association-no-et-al

We already have a separate style for that (and all BMC journals) that looks right: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:bmc-health-services-research

Do you see a file called zotero.sqlite in the folder that has storage, translators, etc.? If so, what file size?
-
Do you happen to know a journal that follows the brackets in text version of the style? Then we can double check what they use in publication and fix.
-
Cite the newspaper article and put "Harold Pinter as cited in" in the prefix of the note (obviously replace with the actual playwright).
-
But FWIW, if you look at the style guide posted above, journal and book titles are in italics. The standard SAGE Vancouver styles does use 1. in the bibliography numbers (the brackets style doesn't -- the prescriptions there are fuzzy). Individual p…

Zotero's server software is fully open sourced so this is possible in principle (with a minimally modified version of Zotero) and there are some groups doing this, but the sync software requires much more than a NAS or WebDAV, so you would always re…

What part isn't clear?

Not the same issue. The original issue occurs after a successful import. For you, it's somewhat hard to say from the above, but I'd guess either your database is corrupted or (and that would be my guess) you are just hitting performance limits. 500k…

The permissions are entirely separate. Your personal library is only visible to anyone if you set it to be public (in which case anyone can see its contents)
-
It's accessible by keyboard from the View menu (View --> Layout --> Item Pane). You can also restore it the exact same way you hid it (i.e. by drag & hold from the right) but I understand that can be a bit finnicky
-
This works when using the Word processor add-on or saving to RTF and opening, but the interpretation of HTML in the clipboard (which is what Zotero uses for copying items to the clipboard) by word processors is wonky when it comes to alignment like …

The Linter for Zotero plugin does this -- I don't know how well the APIs do at scale, so I wouldn't run more than 100 items at a time through it.

The note one isn't on the repository. It's here: https://github.com/bwiernik/zotero-tools/blob/master/apa-note.csl (But there really are lots of options with the parameters you have described so far)

Some examples of where the URL and the library catalog don't store similar information is anything you import via Add by Identifier using DOI or ISBN (including when you drag a PDF to Zotero directly) and almost anything saved from a regular library…

I need to go through it manually and then actually try those styles that have sentence case to see if they also have footnotes (preferrably, short ones) No, not really. The link I gave you only lists footnote styles and the page has previews of not…

We always need sample URLs for errors saving items, even if this affects the whole site.

You should _store_ titles in sentence case. You say you already do that, so those instructions are irrelevant. You now need to find a style that keeps them in sentence case. Chicago Manual doesn't. I tell you above how to find notes styles that do -…

If the item appears in the bibliography, the citation is on a Word field. You may just have field shading turned off in Word? For the bibliography, we'd need more details, but you are on an outdated Zotero version and should update

Do you see the toolbar when you open the.dotm directly?
