@emilianoeheyns -- just tested this on Windows the other day and it still works and I'd be pretty sure it will work after force quitting Zotero and/or killing it in task manager

I'd follow the advice on email addresses: You can see on https://www.zotero.org/settings/email which emails are associated with the account your posting from. Then try password reset to any other ones you'd plausibly have used.

It's pretty hard to do this in APA because the way the APA manual is set up almost every reference list entry has italics somewhere and the style is programmed accordingly. What is this for? Working with a different style would likely be easier.
