LibreOffice 6.2.4.2 on Ubuntu 18.04.2, bookmarks (.docx) and ReferenceMarks (.odt) created with Zotero 5.0.66, update to Zotero 5.0.67. No error.

I think you can drag multiple papers to an existing tag in the tag selector (located at the bottom of the left Zotero pane.)
-
What is the version of your Zotero?
-
Well, here: https://www.zotero.org/download/
-
What is the version of Zotero you are using?
-
My point is: it works in a figure caption for me, I wonder why not for you
-
Just wondering why I can insert a citation in a caption if it is not possible due to technical limitations. But yes, it doesn't work inside a TextBox.
-
Inserting citation in caption works in MS Word for Mac v. 16.16.11. What is your version of MS Word?
-
My case was a bit different but basically yes, waiting and trying later solved the problem
-
Same occurs sometimes with Wiley journals. Temporary network problems?
-
Option 2: or simply change the place of the bracket in the text, Zotero will remember it while inserting/updating the bibliography

Did you follow the troubleshooting instructions first?
-
"moving up a level in the file directory" has nothing to do with Zotero, it is a command of the Windows Explorer. Are you on Windows?
-
After the restart, the tag selector is opened and works properly. I can then close it and reopen it. I did some other trials with a start, tag selector hidden: 1. open the tag selector by dragging the separator: freeze and error, 2. open the…

I think it goes to the collection selected in Zotero. So first selected the collection you want items to be stored in, then import. This is the way I work
-
What OS, LibreOffice version and Zotero version?
-
OK, I understand the role. Thank you for the clarification.
-
Good point. I thought it was the role of the connector. My bad.
-
Which APA style are you referring to?

-
Does it cause any trouble? These tags are necessary to get the correct format of the title in bibliography. [Edit] According to this thread, you use the title to create the filename, so it might be a problem.

Restart your computer?
-
What were you doing when the error occurred?
-
So you need root privilege to update
