Thanks for the unexpectedly quick response! Yes, you are right, I am using the google scholar plugin. Didn't even think to check that. Disabling the plugin worked for now. Thanks again!

Son of a gun. After reading your reply, I sort of think I remember that from when I used Zotero more regularly a couple of years ago for a manuscript project. Thanks so much for the quick reply and all the patient work on such a useful project.

OK. Thanks for the quick response.

No need to be overly sensitive, Adam. I mean nothing personal to you. I have looked for answers to a variety of questions over the years on the forums and have run into a lot of deadend inquiries such as this one. That is why I think it is not u…

And as usual, no answer.

This worked great. If you have two lines between notes, it's pretty quick and simple to setup. What a time saver! Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm sure the devs have more important issues to tackle. I do think that the ability to put one note/source on one page for printing purposes is one of those seemingly minor improvements that would make Zotero more appeal…

Did anything ever come of this?

Thanks for the responses. I'll speak to our librarians about it, but since the university has just signed a contract with refworks, I doubt they will care to help much. Sounds like I will either go back to Firefox--assuming it will work, given Ada…

Hi Adam, I did accept the terms and conditions. The problem, which I'm having on my linux machine now as well, is that in the address bar, there are no icons for me to click to add a citation to my zotero library. Many of my students who hav…

I just installed 3.03 on my windows machine, using Chrome standalone and connector, and am not getting any of the Zotero icons when using jstor from my university library. No problems in EBSCO, though.

That seems to work. Thank you. The only problem now is that the title of the citation doesn't show up in the middle pane of Zotero, obviously since I've moved the title to type. But I can manage.
-
Thanks! I will give it a try.
-
My problem is that I get an open quote but not a close quote.

I have been in email correspondence with librarians at my university. I was wondering if I could forward some of these emails to someone at the Zotero project, since they contain tech stuff that might be of use for making zotero work with some of o…

Not sure if this has been covered elsewhere, so sorry if it replicates other requests. One thing that would be handy for compiling reading lists would be the ability to sort by publication date. Thanks!

I know nothing of extensions for firefox, but I was wondering if it would be possible at some point to have a sync option with a central web server. Sort of like the google browser sync extension that, once installed on various machines, keeps all …

In Zotero 1.0.0b2.r1 OhioLink and my university library catalog now work. Yea! and Thanks! I will certainly introduce Zotero to my colleagues now. Still a problem with quotes around article titles, but I've noted that in another discussion…

Reinstalling Zotero and removing firefox default did the trick. I can export now. Thanks for the suggestion.

Sean, Sorry for the delay in reponding (teaching, etc.). Today i uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox 2.0rc3 and then uninstalled and reinstalled Zotero (1.0.b2.r1). I then went to JSTOR through my university library to retrieve an arti…

Thanks. I really think adding this ability would make Zotero a killer app for Firefox. Not to mention it would make Endnote, Procite, etc., out of business. I have discussed for years with colleagues and students the shortcomings of various no…

Sorry. As far as the "no. March" problem: I think this is a non-problem. It occurred in one of the items of my collection that I believe I saved while using the private beta. More recent downloads have not had this problem that I can tell.

Hi Sean, Yes the article type is definitely Journal Article. In fact, just to make certain, I saved a journal article from JSTOR just now. No quotation marks. I did notice in my library that I do have one article that does have quotes. Unfo…

I've reloaded Zotero again this morning. Still can't export anything. I right click on an item to export and nothing happens. No dialog box, no freezing, nothing. This also happened with the private beta. I uninstalled Zotero, deleted the old z…

clarification of above comment: create bibliography works, but export does not.

I found that the easiest way to back up or transfer zotero collection from one computer to another was to just copy the Zotero folder in the Firefox default user folder (in Application Data in Windows probably, in home directory in linux) to your pr…

Export does not work for me at all. I right click on a reference or collection or a note and click export and nothing happens.
