New plugin: ZoteroQuickLook

I followed the workaround suggestions in Firefox for installing add-ins (shortening filepath by creating new user profile), and the same error message occurs upon attempted install of QuickLook. I am sure this is still a Firefox problem, but this is an FYI for those trying the workaround to no avail.

I have added a fix for the "ZoteroQuickLook cannot be installed because Firefox cannot modify the needed file." error.

Please see the documentation at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/zoteroquicklook/ and let me know if the fix does not work.

I was able to install it in both Zotero Standalone and Zotero for Firefox. Using Cmd+y or spacebar doesn't do anything with any kind of file selected, so I installed maComfort per the instructions, but still nothing is happening. The add-on is enabled in both.

Do you have a context menu entry for quicklook available when you right click an attachment.

Sorry for the long delay. I don't have a context menu entry for QL when right-clicking.

megan.reif: ZoteroQuickLook does not seem to be loading. You should check that it is not disabled.

I am not all that software savvy and I was unable to find a similar thread stating this problem: QuickLook can not be activated after FF 21.0 was installed ( I removed the old version of FF and I installed the new one FF 21.0)

this is exactly the plug-in I've been searching for! thank you!

unfortunately, I can't get it to work. I'm using windows 7- 32 bit. I installed maComfort and the ZQL xpi file. ZoteroQuickLook 1.3.1 shows up in my add-ons manager, but nothing happens when I try to preview my pdfs. Any ideas?
