I'm not sure how to look for the hidden versions of the citations in word. Its nearly impossible since I have many such redundancies..

I have the repeated problem that I can't put citation into more complex part of a document in Word for Mac OS. Meaning inside brackets or after longer quotes ("...") in footnotes.

Zotero could not load the components needed to communicate with the word processor. In Zotero go to Tools, Add-ons, Extensions, and make sure you have Word Processor Extensions enabled.
