Sorry, this is a limitation of the LibreOffice Writer. You can cut-paste citations, but you cannot duplicate them with copy-paste.

Got it fixed by removing the snap packages for both Zotero and LibreOffice and instead installing libreoffice and zotero-deb via apt ("sudo apt install libreoffice"). This should also handle updates.

Not with Zotero. I'm not sure this is possible at all with Google docs. I think you should be able to do this with a Word macro if you're in Word (and I'd guess it's possible in LibreOffice)

endnotes placement is handled by your word processor, so you can search for Word/LibreOffice instructions. In Word, e.g., you should be able to do this using sections.
