  3. Inline Citations Generated by LibreOffice Add-in are Difficult to Read in Dark Mode

    by adamsmith · April 11, 2025
I'm pretty sure that the shading of Reference Marks (the LO feature Zotero uses for citations) is a LibreOffice feature, not a Zotero one. Try, e.g., inserting a cross reference -- that should look th

  7. Incorrect styling bibliography with Libreoffice Linux

    by adomasven · April 7, 2025
What version of Java are you using in LibreOffice? Does this happen with every citation style and regardless of which items you cite? Could you produce a Debug ID reproducing this bug in a new doc?
  8. Incorrect styling bibliography with Libreoffice Linux

What version of LibreOffice do you have installed? Is it from the official LibreOffice website/packages, or a custom bundle from your distro?

When creating a bibliography from cited articles using the "Add/Edit Bibliography" button in Libreoffice, the text exceeds the boundaries of the page.

    by vt · April 3, 2025
Would it please be possible to allow users to search by DOI (i.e., a unique identifier) when inserting citations into MS Word (or LibreOffice Writer)? For DOIs, Zotero currently always returns no sear

    by apfelpfluecker · April 1, 2025
I’m very frustrated because I am trying to work with LibreOffice Zotero Plugin. It is possible that I have done some stupid things, because of this – I’m sorry for that.
  16. "Unlink citations" in LibreOffice removes all formatting

    by adomasven · March 25, 2025
Yes, this is a known issue. This is a limitation of LibreOffice, but they've recently added native support for something like this and it is available in 25.8+, see https://bugs.documentfoundation.org

  18. Bibliography not auto updating when additional citations are added

You should uninstall the bundled LibreOffice version and install the official one available on LibreOffice website. You might also want to reset your LibreOffice profile/settings.
  19. Open Office 4? Zotero 7?

    by adamsmith · March 24, 2025
Zotero hasn't officially supported OpenOffice for a long time. I'd just use LibreOffice which is quite similar. Zotero 6 is still available, but no idea if that works with OpenOffice, either.
