I can confirm that the ZotFile watch folder function has worked consistently on Windows for me to add PDFs and retrieve metadata. It's possible that it works less well on other systems.

Ah, sorry. I had disabled Zotfile, Zutilo, etc., but forgot about the Processor Gadget. Disabling and re-enabling it fixed the issue. Sorry for the hassle.

you can do all of 1-5 in batch with ZotFile, but note that you can't use linked attachments in groups. Beyond that, this sounds awfully complicated and I can't really help you much.

File sync is (basically) all or nothing. WebDAV sync works exactly the same way as ZFS sync. You just enter the sync information and sync. That's the only thing needed to switch between two services.

After some investigation, I've decided to use Zotfile and a iPad pdf-annotator (TBD) for now. But since so many of my pdf files are for "deep storage" (i.e., not being used right now), I want to rearr
