Import pdf with Zotfile

Dear friends,
I've installed Zotero and Zotfile.
I have a directory with PDFs that I update with new files.

From what I understand, Zotfile can import automatically the files into Zotfile.

Although I've configured Zotfile, I cannot see the new files in Zotero.

It's not the most reliable function, but if it works, it only works if you _don't_ have an item selected in the middle panel in Zotero. Then you get a ZotFile bubble on the right, click that and the PDF imports.

Personally, I think it's faster to just drag&drop stuff to Zotero as you go along.

Can you share your reasons why you choose Zotero over Mendeley?

Better import (via URL bar icon), better tagging, better searching, open source & not owned by a publisher.
