    CMoS Note should certainly insert footnotes. My best guess is that you're setting the citation style in the wrong place -- it's set in the "Document Settings" of the Zotero word processor add-on.

    Still no luck in a new word document. Weirdly it inserts the date that the webpage was originally uploaded, rather than the date it was accessed.
