Accessed Date not being added into Chicago footnotes as per the example citation

I have no coding competency whatsoever, so I've been staring at the style editor for hours trying to figure out what's going wrong. I'm using Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (full note, short title subsequent). In the example reference that you can view, it shows that with any citation that includes a web address, an accessed date will also be provided. However, this does not work on application. In my word document, whenever I insert a website citation or an article citation that has a URL attached, the accessed date is not included in the footnote. Any suggestions on how to make this work? If it involves toying around with the coding, I'm not sure that's something I'd be able to do and so your assistance in that will also be appreciated! Thanks.

It works for me for any website citation I insert using this style. For example with the Zotero homepage:

Also, I don't see why an accessed date is required for an article. Could you share the link to this example citation you are talking about?

Still no luck in a new word document. Weirdly it inserts the date that the webpage was originally uploaded, rather than the date it was accessed.

You would need an accessed date for an online newspaper article with Chicago referencing, like this one for example: https://amp.theguardian.com/books/2022/oct/24/the-big-idea-is-cooperation-always-a-force-for-good. Would be classed as an article, but only exists in online form so it requires an accessed date.

I’m not sure how you would share the link to the example citation, but it comes up on Mendeley CSL when you start editing the style. Pretty sure you can also generate an example citation through settings->citation on the Zotero application.

In line with the Chicago Manual's prescriptions, the CSL style only prints an accessed date when there's no publication date. The Guardian article you use does have a publication date and thus no accessed date is given.
