    Hi, I am really stuck. When I compile a document from Scrivener to ODT, then open the ODT in LibreOffice (LO), click on Document Preferences, select Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (author date)

    @dstillman Has in the past indicated general support for adding a "Insert selected references from Zotero" button to the Word/LibreOffice plugins, but no ETA on when that might be implemented.

    scanned through Zotero 5, then opened in LibreOffice. From there, I set the citation style as Chicago (author, year), then as an output I can open in Word - .docx. I would really appreciate getting

    Sorry, I forgot to mention I was using LibreOffice. I don't know if it works the same way.

    What do you mean by that? Are you looking in the Extensions tab? You would have to at least see the LibreOffice extension listed for the LibreOffice option to show up in the preferences.
