What's best practice for the renaming of pdfs? I realise I have been using Zotfile with defaults (underscores etc).

This extension was wrote to delete attachment simultaneously when a item was removed after zotfile was installed.

Yes, I've just verified that with ZotFile disabled and renaming turned off the pdfs are still getting mismatched with references in the same way.

We can't help with ZotFile, but does this happen when you're not using ZotFile?
