Remove field codes doesn't just remove the JSON, it removes all Zotero code adamsmith/fbennett: I want to eliminate all traces of Zotero from the document before I send it. Remove field codes is what I am looking for. Thank you.

I see, so the reason is the sync. I was pondering going the usb way, to keep page annotations and text highlight among 2 notebooks. Can you confirm: these features are not developed, but will remain present in later Zotero releases, or is there a p…

Simon: thank you for the explanation. I can launch ZSA with the executable. adamsmith: I have seen the thread. I will ask some feedback from another Fedora user, or I will try a local install, not to lose the update feature. Side note: Seen today …

Put the shell script wherever you want, then make a symbolic link to it in the folder /etc/rc0.d/, and name the link something like "K99zotero" (the K99 part controls the order it gets executed with respect to other shutdown scripts) Thanks drmccloy…

Thank you for you input. After lecture of your answer, in particular, the plug-in chapter, I have no reserve anymore. Sorry all.

I just noticed today "Add Selection to Zotero Note" does not work when I use Zotero addon as PIN app, or in its own browser tab. Could the feature extended when Zotero addon is its own browser tab? It does not work either in the Standalone applica…

Drag&drop of citations absolutely works in Linux You are right, I can drag & drop items, what does not work is drag & drop with Shift key pressed (to cite), at least on a LXDE desktop. The easiest would probably be to write the text in …

We support RTF because it enjoys wider word processor support than any other format besides plain text This argument sounds like Icaza promoting Mono, to me. If you would like the extend this feature to support other document formats, we would welco…

The original poster may find this useful I do. Thank you for sharing your python script, and to explain how to use it. I will look at rsync man page to include the hardlinks in my backup. If you don't mind, I would like to see your shell script.

Generally, for documents online you want it clickable, for documents that are printed you don't. Great, that's just common sens. I was wondering if some styles i.e. APA, Chicago, and so one (and which I do not know well) required to format the URL …

That option just turns on HTML parsing of the post you're about to make. I am fine now, thanks.

Thank you

Well, thanks again for all your answers along my first steps using Zotero. A. I finally get it. But I don't think a virtual search feature exists on the light-way file managers I use (LXDE & XFE desktops), anyway, I will ask. B. Renami…
