I work in a science communication service at a university. We use Zotero to centralise the powerpoint presentations of our workshops and their references. It is a very convenient tool to share all this in our team, as everyone needs have the last ve…

oh right, i didn't think about that. Thanks for the reply.

The only way I found to make it sync again was to change the status from member to admin. Re-installing Zotero didn't change anything.

Ok sorry, I thought I did the correct one. I followed the instructions and here is a new one: D1828959135

Hi, so the problem occurred again, here is a Debug ID: 856280845. The problem I have is that it is impossible to synchronise.

Thanks you so much ! I'll try to have a look at your workshops, it will be the double benefit of teaching me coding and work my german... ;)
-
I wish I could do this, but I'm far from knowing how to, sorry... I have basically 0 knowledge on this, and feel a bit intimidated by it. It's not a huge problem though, I can definitely change it manually after import. Thanks again for your work. T…

@zuphilip this is awesome, thank you very much ! I just noticed a small problem for the "tribune de genève" & "le matin" newspapers. When importing, the first name of the author includes "par" (by). I don't know if there is a simple way to corre…

Thanks for your replies. @dstillman strangely the problem doesn't occur anymore. I'll provide the Debug ID if the problem comes back.

Hi, I just reiterate my question from a few month ago. Does anybody have any info on this ? how to prevent it ?

You could activate the recursive collections feature: https://www.zotero.org/support/collections_and_tags#recursive_collections
-
Ok thanks ! Sorry if I was not clear enough the first time!
-
Hi, ok, weird that you have the same result with both methods. For me, right-clicking (or ctrl click on mac, or click and hold) results in having all snapshots (the page + Facebook and twitter etc.) downloaded. In the other option, I just check …

Hi and thanks for the reply, you can try here: https://www.24heures.ch/suisse/loup-forets-suisses/story/17934033 yes Zotero is running in both cases, and Zotero is available in Safari preferences.
-
I have the same problem. Similarly, when you use the Zotero Quicklook plugin when Zotero is in full-screen mode, the quicklook window appears on a non-full screen space.
-
I don't think this is possible. I had the same question a few weeks ago but it was not answered.
-
Hi, any news on this ?
-
Thanks for your ideas. I just tried your solution, Adam, but unfortunately the file doesn't open right away. The browser asks to download the presentation, which then has to be opened "manually"...

Hi, thanks. Unfortunately this still doesn't work. Ppt files only show up if file type is "Document".

Thanks for the reply noksagt. I have to admit I'm not very familiar with this. What can I do about it ?
-
Ok, I'll check with them... Thanks again for your great help! That gave me a small introduction to csl, I'll try to get more into it and maybe contribute to other styles : )

I'm testing it with the latest version of Papers2, on Word for mac 2011, mac os 10.8.3. I also tested it with text edit, but nothing changes... Whatever the sign I put in page-range delimiter, it always gives an n-dash...
-
Yes, that's what I did, and it now works! thanks a lot ! : ) now, just one last thing before this style is 100% correct: the journal requires a hyphen and not an n-dash, but the command you suggested before doesn't work: - I still get an n-dash w…

Alright, I understand... I'll make the modifications accordingly ! thanks again for your great help ! Tim

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear, but what I want is to have "& al." in lowercase, but the author names in small-caps... the command will apparently change the author name, but not the "al" the command changes only the "&al." and works, but th…
-
Thanks Adam for cleaning it ! so, i re-tried fbennett's suggestion, to use but all this does is putting author names in capitals (which I do not want, as I want "minicaps") and leaves the AL in minicaps, where I would want lowercase "& al." …

Thanks Frank, that's really nice of you... here it is: https://gist.github.com/tibr81/5481492

no, this didn't work... the only way to get exactly what I want is like this: /> I guess it's ok even if it is not accepted in the re…
