To that end, should I make a new thread clarifying the issue seems to lie with the connector Chrome and not the Translator as this thread suggest?
-
@adamsmith You are correct! I don't know why, but I never thought of trying a different browser, from the one where it usually works. I am using Zotero version 6.0.37 and using the connector in Chrome.
-
@adamsmith -- I completely missed the notification that you responded to this Thread. I have been occupied by other project for last 6 months, but now that Zotero has my attention again, I must regrettably report, that I experience the exact same e…

BUMP (hope this is okay after 2 months has passed).

@adamsmith If you is the author field visible in the bibliography, then the answer is no. Not in our own version of APA which I linked and not in the official APA 7 version. The title (long or short+long) are shown, the author (ministry in this ca…

Hi Adam Thanks for you response and thanks for all your assistance. I should reconsider when we decide to make changes to our ref styles so as to avoid the summer holidays :)

Thanks both of you! I would gladly share the code as you pointed out @damnation but the tip from @adamsmith seems to have solved my issue. I remember looking through the csl documentation and reading about title-short and then right beneath it sai…

I now have a new problem. It seems that this solution causes the long form titles to appear TWICE in the bibliography, when there is no short form title (popular title). As seen in this long example: Bekendtgørelse om formål, kompetencemål, færdig…

bwiernik to the rescue! I don't know why I was so completely blind. I kept trying to add the two forms, in the same call, which obviously does not work.. I don't know why I never thought to simply add a new call after the first one.. Thanks! :)

Ah, okay! It is what it is, thanks for shedding some light on all of this. Have a nice day :)

Ah sorry! Forgot to include the link: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/5597 It's basically just smaller changes, so it fits with our own standard and practices. But it is done with APA 7 as template, so the request basically w…

@adamsmith Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I'll give it a try or leave it, as it is.

Sorry to bump my own thread with the same questions, but I just need to look into these last two changes, and then I am done for now. @adamsmith two questions, if I may: - Is it possible to suppress the year in intext citations only for legislation…

@AbeJellinek It is beautiful! Thanks a lot! @adamsmith I know I already made a reply for you to comment on, but I just had one more question. Is it possible to suppress the (year) in intext citations for specific citations? I know I can do a citat…

Hi Adam and thank you for a quick response. I am using APA 7th. I made a quick imgur to show you how it should been shown, mostly just because I like pictures, and I often do a terrible job at describing. https://imgur.com/a/UmR64O7 EDIT: the "u.…

The other one is not as pressing, but would be nice to have implemented. I can now see that it uses the abbreviated titles, for the in-text citations for the laws, when able. As seen in this imgur: https://imgur.com/a/HBzC1vD Would it at all, be…

@AbeJellinek Thanks a ton! This is super helpful! If I may, I have two requests, one more urgent than the other, I admit. The first one pertains the LAW ID and how it, right now, is put under Public Law Number (USA), which we do not use. It should …
