Github pull request and updating a style

Hello

I have made a pull request for a style that we use here at work. I am not well versed in the use of Github, so my question is simply, how long (approximately) it will take before it can be approved for a merge?

The new semester starts in 11 days, and it would be nice if the merge could happen before that.

Thank you in advance.
  • Hi,

It is currently summer holiday season and we're just very few people on the CSL team. So everything is a bit slower at the moment.
Which PR are you talking about?
  • Ah sorry! Forgot to include the link:
    https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/5597

It's basically just smaller changes, so it fits with our own standard and practices. But it is done with APA 7 as template, so the request basically wants to overwrite the old style, which was based on APA 6.

Completely understand the situation and thank you for the quick response.
  • that person you requested review is me, but I cannot merge PRs.
You'll have to be patient for one of the owners of the repository to look this over. ;)
  • Ah, okay! It is what it is, thanks for shedding some light on all of this.

    Have a nice day :)
  • I'd say 1-2 weeks is pretty typical and we try very hard to stay under 4 weeks for merging citation styles and their updates.
