I later experienced a crash (debug ID 1455811777). However, I'm not sure if that is related to this issue or not.
-
I initially had difficulty reproducing this today, but after it happened once it remained pretty consistent: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BSMZK7QI5R2VoVJ9cYfZFEsPHsm3Pi06/view The device is an iPad Air (5th generation) running iOS 15.6 (19G71)…

Thanks @poettli, indeed I forgot to highlight the text.
-
Never mind, I didn't read the post carefully. It seems I have to highlight the text after selecting it.
-
I can still reproduce item 1 in version 1.0.3 Build 5. It would be nice if the spelling suggestions were applied correctly.
-
Thanks for the quick reply!
-
It looks like this might have been fixed upstream. I'll wait for the next release to see if the deleted tags disappear. https://github.com/zotero/zotero-ios/issues/497

Great, thanks!
-
Thanks dstillman. I removed the attachments and added them back one at a time and that seems to have fixed the behavior.
-
I would prefer Zoom to Page Height. For me, Automatically Resize is inconsistent across PDFs and across devices.
-
Thanks dstillman. Here's the URL to the item: [removed — D.S.]
-
Could this be due to the files being downloaded in a different order on different devices?

For my workflow, I would like LaTeX support in the annotations. I hope that can be considered in when addressing https://github.com/zotero/zotero/issues/2484.
-
There is a related question about making it easier to zoom to page height here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/96597/setting-the-default-zoom-level
-
I should add that this request is partly motivated by the fact that "Automatic Resize" doesn't always fit to page and I was hoping for an easy way (either by default or keyboard shortcut) of doing so.
-
I forgot to clarify that the indentations are spaces, not tabs.
-
This is still an issue on 1.0.3 Build 5. This prevents editing long annotations on an iPhone.
-
The latter issue sounds related to this: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/94935/ios-cursor-jumping-to-end-of-annotation-d565900943#latest @dstillman, this issue appears to be fixed in GitHub, but the problem still occurs in version 1.0.2 build…

Here's another debug ID with less unrelated activity: D513959394

I am still experiencing this with version 1.0.2 build 2. Debug ID: D1336964445

Done.

Reinstalling the app appears to have fixed it. I do have the .ips crash logs if a developer is interested.
-
On my iPad, I can swipe up from the middle of the screen with 4 fingers to bring up the app switcher.
-
I did some more testing. On an iPad, I am able to swipe up on the annotation to see the end of the text. On an iPhone, I am unable to do so. Below is a video illustrating the issue: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Al3JygH8LlMuKwDefKRxJEWLVEhLNZ…

For me, "Automatical Resize" doesn't always fit to page. On smaller screens, part of the page is still obscured and scrolling is required. See related discussions here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/93153/issues-with-built-in-pdf-reader#la…

I have the same issue. It sounds similar to https://github.com/zotero/zotero/issues/1999 When no tabs are open, the toolbar is themed correctly but the tree is not: https://postimg.cc/xqPL3KZG When a tab is open, both the toolbar and tree are aff…

This still occurs with build 199. Let me know if there's anything I can to do help debug this.
-
I verified that this only happens on iOS. The desktop app does not exhibit this behavior so I don't think there's anything weird in the annotation text.
