Ah thanks, I'll create an issue. I didn't realize that was from BBT.
-
Thanks. Works well in build 196.
-
I encounter the same behavior when simply selecting an annotation. After selecting in annotation in the sidebar, clicking on the margin between the sidebar and PDF page breaks the keyboard navigation. Clicking on the PDF page after selecting the a…

Never mind, I see this was done here: https://github.com/zotero/zotero/issues/2320
-
Happened again with version 188. D1320733787
-
I noticed that the color is updated after 1-2 seconds in version 188. Either this issue has been fixed (thanks!), or I simply didn't wait long enough in my earlier testing. Apologies if it's the latter.
-
I tried to capture some debug output. D1005865157 hopefully reveals something interesting.
-
I just experienced this again with version 6.0-beta.1+8c846468f. It's not easily reproducible, but let me know if there's any useful information I can provide if it happens again.
-
Sorry, I realized I never mentioned the app version. This still appears to be an issue in version 184.
-
Thanks @bwiernik and @emilianoeheyns. That's exactly what I needed.
-
Thanks @bwiernik. I've been putting "MS thesis" and "PhD dissertation" in the Zotero Type field. What information is the Type field intended to capture? Is there a way to instruct the export to map a Zotero Thesis entry to @masterthesis? EDIT: Lo…

About a month or two ago, I experienced a similar problem where the color of the highlight would change from the normal red to a duller red. It was not consistently reproducible, and I haven't experienced it recently.

I don't want to pollute this discussion, but the below describes similar symptoms when editing an annotation. https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/93792/text-for-annotation-is-cleared-if-added-too-soon#latest
-
I managed to record the behavior: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1A-K4_RqKQAzK8FnM_tr6-bgCWrXl1ERP/view?usp=sharing

In between steps 3 and 4, if I click on the item info, I see the correct tag with the correct color. So it appears that it is just the colored dot in the list of items that is not being updated.
-
This just happened again. When I logged back in, I was presented with a debug ID. Not sure if it's relevant, but it's D421429940.

Here are some screenshots if it helps. Compare the selected entries in the desktop app vs. the iOS app: Desktop (5.0.97-beta.60+14caa3a89): https://postimg.cc/4nJqhY0Y iOS (175): https://postimg.cc/14JT09xJ Info (note that there are no authors, …

I forgot to mention that this only happens when iOS is set to dark mode. When editing the abstract in light mode, the background is white and the foreground text is black. When in dark mode, I encounter the black on black text.
-
Sorry to bump this. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
-
Confirmed. Thanks for the fast turnaround!
-
I'm not sure if this helps, but the entries in the access log from the desktop app show the username (masked by 'username' below): 192.168.143.95 - username [21/Dec/2021:15:36:20 -0800] "DELETE /zotero/LE354FCQ.zip HTTP/1.1" 204 0 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 …

Thanks. My attempts to log the full headers just creates empty log files, so I'm not having much luck there. I'll leave it for others to try and reproduce.
-
I just ran a few more experiments. Using the desktop app, I added a file, moved it to the trash, and emptied the trash. No errors appear in my servers logs. If I add the file and move it to the trash with the desktop app, but then empty the trash…

> "The files do appear to have been deleted." My earlier comment might be incorrect. The files don't appear in Zotero's trash (in both the desktop and iOS apps). However, many of these files still appear to exist on the server.

I just tried deleting an additional 3 files from iOS, and now the error is "Could not delete 9 file(s) from your WebDAV server." The files do appear to have been deleted. When I later synced from the desktop app, the trash is empty (it's empty on…

Yes, this is using the built-in PDF viewer.
