Can you provide some screenshots of what you're doing and what's happening?
-
See Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents for the existing document.
-
(It might help to provide screenshots if there are things you don’t understand.)
-
Also the citations are not being input to Word You'd have to say more. The citation dialog obviously works in general. https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems

it is hard for me to search and find the items that I am looking for Why is it hard? There's a large search field at the top of the dialog, where the cursor is placed by default. You just type your search. In Library mode (toggle in the bottom right…

On a broader level, if updates are completely automatic and potentially break important plugins temporarily, I worry this pushes people away from relying on plugins for important functionality. Zotero updates are and will be completely automatic, ye…

Restart Zotero and try again in a new document. Does it work?
-
The new citation dialog replaces the red-bar (List mode) and classic citation dialogs (Library mode): https://www.zotero.org/blog/zotero-8/#redesign-citation-dialog If there's something you're having trouble with in the new dialog, say more and we…

And I'm saying that's not correct — this was a special case where a bug in BBT prevented it from being updated properly. BBT is already compatible with Z9, and the BBT developer will almost certainly update BBT before all major versions going forwar…
-
There's no reason it should persist. BBT should be updated before each major version. There was a problem with some recent versions of BBT that prevented them from being updated, so we had to force-disable old versions.
-
That's not a Debug ID from Zotero startup (or if it is, you disabled Troubleshooting Mode and there's some massive operation from BBT that's pushing startup debug output out of the log).
-
(Ignore the deleted comment from someone else — it was inaccurate.) This doesn't have anything to do with the data directory or application files. Please just let us help you before trying drastic steps. This could happen if you tried to copy the …

You'd have to be more specific. Most plugins should be compatible with Zotero 9 by now. If one you use isn't, contact the plugin developer and ask them to test for compatibility and update their plugin.
-
What's the exact message you're receiving?
-
You'd have to say more. You wouldn't just lose all highlights in your library in normal usage of Zotero.

@ameeso: Same answer as above. The Zotero 10 beta works around recent stricter anti-bot measures from WorldCat.
-
Can you link to the PDF?

https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#error_or_non-responsive_plugin_buttons (Word needs to be closed before you restart Zotero.)

Fixed for the next beta — thanks.

You should also delete those folders if they exist and restart your computer. You should also run Task Manager with elevated privileges and check for processes running in another OS account, etc. Non-standard security software on your system could…

I addressed this. Google Play Services has specific APIs that use the camera, for specific tasks, without sending data to Google or giving image data to the apps. So granting camera access to Google Play Services isn't opening up some major "securit…

There's a Black theme in the reader appearance panel. https://www.zotero.org/blog/zotero-8/#reader-appearance-panel-with-theme-support

Fixed for the next beta — thanks.

If you're doing them in a pattern roughly approximating a human, the Zotero 10 beta may help.
-
(The requests for creating bookmarks in the PDF reader are totally unrelated to this.)
-
(But unless this is an institutional computer or you have non-standard security software, you can almost always simply close Word and then restart Zotero to trigger the update, without performing any manual steps.)
-
Yes, your data won't be affected.
