@pivik: You're misunderstanding the argument. As it says, even if you want to use your own organizational system, that's something that you would do with a plugin in Zotero, so that Zotero can automatically rename and organize files for you as you s…

Are you talking about just visiting this site in a browser? That would be an issue with your connection.
-
@pivik: We explain exactly why on the page linked immediately above your comment. I'm not sure why you think there's some mystery here. People ask for all sorts of things we don't implement because we think they're worse ways of working. If you disa…

We always need an example URL for problems with saving.

(Please start new threads for new issues. I've moved this to a new thread.) You'll need to follow the steps on Changes Not Syncing and provide the requested info if you're still having trouble.

(Please start new threads for new issues. I've moved this to a new thread.) We always need an example URL for problems with saving. If it's not working anywhere, we'd also want a Debug ID from Zotero for reloading the page and trying to save.

Also, @aqq12321, @DWL-SDCA, what browser was this in?
-
@DWL-SDCA: Re: your edits, not sure I understand. Are you saying when this happened you were saving multiple items via Save to Zotero? Or that you were downloading a RIS file?
-
This is about the Zotero Connector, not the app. For now, we just need an answer to my question above.
-
You can just select the attachment in the web library and then copy the zotero.org URL from your browser address bar. Anyone in the group will be able to access it and then open the PDF from there. You just can't share the files.zotero.net URL afte…

Can you disable all plugins and then provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing this, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
-
You're saying if you just disable the Zotero Connector and reload the page, you're able to access it normally? But if you enable it again you're blocked?
-
"Save to Zotero" is the main way you use the Zotero Connector on any site. It's the reason the Zotero Connector exists. https://www.zotero.org/support/adding_items_to_zotero#via_your_web_browser

We'd have to see the PDF in question. You can link to it or email it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.
-
You're clicking Insert Note instead of Add/Edit Citation. Insert Note is for inserting Zotero notes. https://www.zotero.org/blog/zotero-6/#adding_notes_to_word_processors
-
Not currently possible in MV3: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/465081/#Comment_465081 But also, this has never been a recommended way of working on a supported site like Google Scholar. I'm not sure what's "extremely slow and complex"…
-
@hackbunny: That’s not an error. If you’re experiencing some problem, you’ll have to say what it is.
-
This should be fixed now in 1.0.0-74.
-
Can you email a PDF that causes this to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
As I mentioned via email, you're at your file-storage quota, so additional files likely weren't being uploaded, which Zotero would've been warning you about on every sync. If you then logged out, chose to delete local data, and then logged back in, …

Zotero 7, currently in beta, runs natively on Apple Silicon.

Again, you'll need to follow the steps on Files Not Syncing and provide the requested info if you're still having trouble.
-
Can you tell us which, so that we know for helping others? You can email to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread if you don't want to say publicly.
-
This is specifically from Typora? If I copy the text above from this webpage and paste it into a Zotero note, it starts correctly at 1.
-
You should re-enable other extensions one by one, reloading the page after each one, until you identify which one was interfering.
-
I'm not seeing that (e.g., trying to save this page). Can you provide a URL on which you can reproduce that? When testing this, be sure to disable all extensions other than those two and reload the page in question.
-
Can you disable any other browser extensions you're running, reload the page, and see if it still says "DOI" when you hover over the save button?
-
That still shows you saving. To be clear, "reloading" means clicking the Reload button in your browser, next to the Back/Forward and Home buttons. That's what we need debug output for. It doesn't mean clicking the Save to Zotero button.
-
That still seems to be for saving, not for just reloading the page.
-
Can you provide another Debug ID for reloading the page? Also, what version of the Connector do you have (in the Extensions pane of Chrome)?
