It seems like a bunch of things are being conflated here: 1) If you really need to edit a citation's text, there's no functional change here. Editing a citation, whether you did it in the classic dialog or in the document, has always broken citatio…

Is this a multi-user machine? That shows a successful save to Zotero. If Zotero is opened in another OS user account, it could be saving to there.
-
That's not a Debug ID. Follow the link to instructions.
-
And when you say none of your collections are there, what do you mean? Can you provide a screenshot? The drop-down is only for recent collections you've saved to, and that list would get reset if you reinstalled the extension. To see your collection…

You didn't provide a Debug ID as requested there.

See Troubleshooting Problems Saving to Zotero.

You changed the port Zotero is listening on. Go to the Config Editor in the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings and reset extensions.zotero.httpServer.port.

I mainly used it as a preview of the citation. Almost all my manual changes were via the prefix and suffix entries. But what do you need to see? Prefix and suffix add text at the beginning and end of the citation, inside any containing parentheses o…

By default, Zotero simply launches the URL via the system's default HTTP handler. If that fails, all it does is fall back to the fallbackLauncher.unix executable with the URL as the first argument: https://github.com/zotero/zotero/blob/504447de41b8…

We always need an example URL for problems with saving. (But we can't help with anything related to a plugin.)

We always need an example URL for problems with saving. If you're having trouble saving across many sites, see Troubleshooting Problems Saving to Zotero.

1) It changes all my new uploads, sorts them in chaotic ways, changes some (but not all) attachment titles. Not clear what you mean here. You'll need to say more and include some screenshots. But this might be relevant: https://www.zotero.org/suppor…

You can request extra minutes from that page once your quota is exhausted. (It looks like you've since figured this out.)
-
Do you have an Add Annotation button in the Zotero toolbar in Word?
-
Link to PDF?
-
You used some plugin or AI tool that created invalid collections in your database. I'm afraid you'll need to contact the developer or fix this yourself if you want to sync.

Can you reproduce it in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”)?
-
Sorry, that's a bug in the Android app. We'll fix.
-
But you're just at your Zotero Storage quota, so no additional files would be uploading: https://www.zotero.org/settings/storage

Can you provide a Debug ID from Zotero? That's from the Connector, which isn't relevant for syncing.
-
You have to reload the page, not just click the save button again. (That just reopens the popup.)
-
(Group admin, not just owner.) I can't reproduce this. @rmmueller, can you provide a Debug ID for creating a group, syncing, and then going to the settings and not being able to edit?
-
We always need an example URL for problems with saving. This is usually just arXiv servers being down, but if you provide a Debug ID from the Connector for reloading the page and trying to save, we can say more.

Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a sync that fails?
-
You can click an annotation in the reader and press Ctrl/Cmd-C (or Edit → Copy) to copy the annotation and a basic author-date citation. In an upcoming version, the citation will follow your existing Quick Copy citation settings. In Zotero 9, you c…

You'd only get that warning if you're not actually using a separate data directory for the other profile. save the records from a research project (currently stored in a collection) on my university one drive account Note totally sure what you mean …

@VilleHamalainen: This is just a misunderstanding. You've been able to edit citations manually in the document for 15+ years — that's the reason the previous default (red-bar) dialog didn't have an editor for all that time. But as I say above, the s…

Don't manually edit citations. Customize the citation: https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage#customizing_cites (Documentation is for the earlier default citation plugin, but same idea.) If there's something specific you're un…
