Error Report 576672665 - pre-v.9.0.5 error message when editing citations in v.9.0.5
Really hoping you can reproduce the error, but I'm not always sure what is triggering it.
When I enter a citation (Word in MS 365) and have the 'Automatically update citations' UNselected for quick entries, it will not allow me to edit any citation unless I re-select the auto update.
Even when I click the 'refresh' to manually update, I still receive the 'Zotero experienced an error updating your citations' message when I click on the 'Add/edit citation' button.
If it was consistent, it wouldn't be as much of a problem. However, it sometimes doesn't seem to care if that automatic update box -is- checked or not. And sometimes just going from one quote to the next, it stops working, or if I shift over to the Zotero app itself and come back, sometimes it stops working.
In all, I'm not exactly sure what is triggering it.
Appreciate thoughts. Have tried closing and reopening both apps, as well as restarting the computer. Both ways it's still inconsistent if it shows an error or not.

dstillman Zotero TeamThat's not a "pre-v.9.0.5 error" — that's just the generic error message for a problem with the plugin. The Windows security updates were causing a specific issue that's been fixed in 9.0.5. This is an error we haven't seen before. When did it start? What exact version of Word is this?
