@zrbs: See above.

For problems with a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer.
-
@Bichun_Chen: It works as we've described above. If you're having trouble, please start a new thread and provide a Debug ID for a Verify Server attempt that fails.

For problems with a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer.
-
Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it and then report the problem to the plugin's developer. If no…

No, that is incorrect. A subcollection isn't some distinct thing. It's just a collection. You remove an item from any collection the same way — as shown in the documentation I linked to. If an item is in a collection and also in one of its subcollec…
-
No, you're just confused here. All collection operations have to be done to parent items, not child items. Again, your screenshot shows you right-clicking on a child item. You can't drag a child item to a collection either.

-
We've told you how to do that — from the parent item. Collection vs. subcollection makes no difference here.
-
So that's what @ajb59 was saying — if you want to remove an item from the collection, you need to do it from the parent item.
-
The options in your screenshot only appear when you right-click on a child attachment.
-
@tcarv: Can you provide a Debug ID for an autocomplete that's slow for you?
-
@DWL-SDCA: To be clear, that's not a suggestion we give for autocomplete — @bwiernik thought this was referring to the search bar, where " turns on a phrase search mode that triggers a search on Enter. You can enter any random character to prevent a…

We've been trying to fix various causes of this, but apparently we haven't gotten all of them. Is this a Windows account with reduced permissions (i.e., where you're prompted to enter an administrator user and password)? Anything else unusual? Can…

Not yet available, sorry.
-
@northword: Is Linter yours? This is the second report of this we've gotten.
-
This is caused by the Linter plugin. Please contact the plugin developer.

Then you’ll need to talk to your IT department. If your institution uses Cisco Secure, see https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/474163/#Comment_474163 and have them contact us.

6.0.15-beta.3+b9a1e9351 You're using a Zotero beta version from years ago.
-
Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing this, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
-
It sounds like you installed some plugin that did that. It's not yet a Zotero feature.
-
@dbrear: No, that's not the case.
-
(Please note in your thread title when you're referring to Android.) You're using an outdated version of the app.
-
That's the Zotero 7 app icon. Is this an institutional computer?
-
Can you provide a screenshot of what you’re seeing and explain exactly what’s happening?
-
@Zerriffi: That's not a proper fix, though, and may have other undesirable side effects. This needs to be fixed by Cisco. A local exclusion can also be added by your IT department, but this really needs to be reported to Cisco so they can fix it for…
-
@romesh: Were you under the impression that they were fixing this globally, or only at an institutional level? @k.martin.m: This is a false positive in Cisco Secure, and if it's not fixed globally, it really needs to be. You should point your IT de…
