Zotero on Dell Desktop

My Zotero has stopped working on my Dell Desktop computer .It worked for a couple of years- but now the icon looks like a white box (not sure that matters- but it shows up black on my Dell lap top where it still opens).
I tried updating it by downloading the most recent version- but it made no difference. Thanks for your help!

Uninstall Zotero and reinstall it from the download page. Your data won't be affected.

I tried that and it didn't work. What should I do next? It is still working on my lap top so it is not the account that's problematic.

Can you provide a screenshot of what you’re seeing and explain exactly what’s happening?

Below is what the Zotero icon looks like (on desk top, in start up menu, on tool bar- all the same). I click on it- and nothing happens. I try right click to get open app- but nothing happens. It's like it is an empty app?
