Probably not much to go on, but you can send the log file to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.

@garabedian: If you've already dragged a collection, dragging it again won't do anything. (A future version might improve things to allow previously dragged collections to be updated, though it's a complicated problem.)
-
It's a child item — you can't drag it directly to another collection. If you want it to be a standalone attachment, drag it out of the parent and then drag it to another collection.

6.0.7 You're running a version of Zotero from May 2022. You should install the latest version from the download page and figure out why you haven't received automatic updates in several years.
-
You're talking about search? Search in web library just doesn't currently search all fields. You can see in the drop-down that the options are "Title, Creator, Year" and "Title, Creator, Year + Full-Text Content" (meaning attachment content).

Those are your system settings, not the Safari settings.
-
That just means no network connections are working in your Zotero. See Connection Error.

Can you provide a Debug ID for a DOI lookup attempt that fails? It also does not allow me starting sync Meaning what, exactly? Can you provide a Debug ID for a sync attempt?
-
I'm not really sure what you're doing here. The page doesn't say anything about those files, so why are you even bringing them up? They're internal files managed by Zotero — forget about them. Again, if you're having trouble with your own attachment…

I’m not sure why you’re putting quotes around something I didn’t say? It does exactly what I say above — breaks automatic importing of certain bibliographic data exchange files — and I said what we’re waiting for to roll it out for Edge. We haven’t …

I mean, that's just a disclosure triangle — that's not something you should be relying on to determine whether there's something important under an item. As I say, the Attachments column shows whether there's an attachment, and you can add the Notes…

You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Reporting Problems for the two things we need to help you.
-
Why do you think it's not allowed? Microsoft still allows existing MV2 extensions. MV3 on Chrome and Edge breaks basic Zotero Connector functionality (RIS/BibTeX interception), so we're holding off on updating the Edge version until we actually nee…
-
You definitely didn't encounter the same problem with the desktop app, because the message is about connecting to Zotero servers, and importing a file in the desktop app doesn't have anything to do with Zotero servers. You should use the desktop ap…

If anything we'd just remove the noun altogether and have "Move to Trash"/etc.: https://github.com/zotero/zotero/pull/1535#issuecomment-407977486 But that's just to be less verbose. Attachments and notes are items, and they're always going to be d…

Attachments are items, and it's a context menu option on the attachment item. A bunch of the other menu items say "Item" as well, as you can see.

Can you share a screenshot?

Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it and then report the problem to the plugin's developer. If it…

What color bar? If the yellow bar is showing up, you need to press Esc to close it first before clicking the other button.
-
OK, this should be fixed again for the next version (so, effectively, the next update after that). Thanks!
-
Yeah, I just saw the same. That's actually probably a regression. This happened in early 7.0 betas, and we fixed it. We probably need to update the fix for 7.1.
-
What exact version?
-
Can you provide a Debug ID for a sync that triggers the error?
-
How did you install Zotero?
-
I cannot distinguish between items that have informative attachments and those that just have these links attached to them Not sure what you mean by this. Items with attachments show an attachment (e.g., PDF) icon in the Attachments column. Links do…

@joshdraper: Various groups of yours are public open groups, which don't allow file editing. You'll see that you can't add files directly to those groups either. (Note that if you change them to another group type, you'll currently need to delete i…

I guess you're asking for the ability to draw in Zotero notes, but you're aware that the PDF reader supports ink annotations?
-
How large is the file? And approximately how many records? We can look into this, but is there are a reason you're not using the desktop app? For any significant work, that's what you'd want to use. (We also only just recently added file-import sup…

If you're trying to insert a citation, you need to click Add/Edit Citation (red bar), not Add Note (yellow bar), which is for inserting Zotero notes into your document.
