Word plug in won't work

When I press the "Add note" in Word, the bar comes op, and I can type in words. The wheel starts spinning, but it never comes op with any suggestions.

I have reinstalled Zotero, reinstalled the Word-plugin, restarted everything but it haven't helped. It used to work fine, but stopped workin a couple of weeks ago.

The troubleshooting file says this:

I'm on a MacBook Pro, MacOS Ventura version 13.7.2.

I hope someone can help me.

    If you're trying to insert a citation, you need to click Add/Edit Citation (red bar), not Add Note (yellow bar), which is for inserting Zotero notes into your document.

    I get the same result when I click add/edit citation - the bar comes up and I can type in it, but then nothing happens.

    What color bar? If the yellow bar is showing up, you need to press Esc to close it first before clicking the other button.
