It'd be in the 'styles' folder in your Zotero data directory.
-
See Changes Not Syncing.
-
It's "Save As…" if you're viewing a PDF in the reader. If you can't figure it out, provide a screenshot and a Report ID.

You’re having some problem loading styles (for this and your other thread). Reset your styles from the Advanced → Files and Folders section of the Zotero settings with BBT disabled.
-
Start by making sure you're running Zotero 7.
-
No, we changed it because we don't think manually toggling a setting makes any sense, and other reader apps don't do that either. Longer explanation here (from before we reduced from 25 to 5): https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/107075/screen-time…

No, no way to avoid that.

Did you restart Zotero and let it settle? With all tabs closed and all plugins disabled, Zotero 7.0.11 takes 700–800 MB for me on Apple Silicon after a restart. It definitely shouldn't take 2 GB.

Select All in a Zotero search (quick search or advanced search) will match only the matching rows. Click within that list, press Ctrl-A, and then press Enter, which will select those matching items in the main window. You can then delete them all fr…

I got to the menu where it shows the location of all the folders, and next to the one labelled startup it's just blank, which I think is normal) Yes, that's normal. Can you provide a Debug ID for clicking the install button? If you go to the defau…

Not clear what you mean here, but if you can reproduce this in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins, please provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) from Troubleshooting Mode…

(Note that you'll want to refer to the "PDF reader" for something like this. If you just talk about "citations" here, people are generally going to assume you're talking about citations you've created using the word processor plugin.) If you email …

You'd have to say more.

@tim820: Yeah, it looks like a bunch of services now default to online-only (surprising a lot of long-time users!), so that might explain some of the confusion. (This is unrelated to the initial claim that deleting a file outside of Zotero deletes …

You can hover over the tab to see the author/date information (and configure what's shown in tab titles in the settings). You can also obviously just click the button in the top-right corner to open the item pane and see all the metadata there.

(You're also misstating how Google Drive and Dropbox work. The standard behavior of those and similar tools is to sync a local folder with cloud storage. If you delete a file in your local Dropbox folder, it's deleted from the cloud as well. Those t…

Right, so this is just a misunderstanding. Your Zotero is working correctly. Zotero is a local-first app. If you save something to the app, the data gets saved to your local database and the attachment file gets saved to your disk. If you're using …

In that case, you can use Option-1 to toggle the highlighter on and off before selecting the text.

Local style URLs should be fixed in the latest beta. Is it possible to get those in Markdown instead of HTML? No, there's no such thing as Markdown citations — many/most styles require CSS to be formatted correctly, so the actual difference would ge…

I find it a bit cumbersome to have to do additional mousework Just to reiterate, you don't have to do additional mousework — you can just click the highlight or underline tool in the toolbar, and then it will create an annotation with every text sel…

You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.

(And if you did use export and import, you would end up with duplicates of your entire library, since you're also using syncing. But files would still be missing on the original items, because you're at your storage quota.)
-
An export isn't a backup. (If you lost files, you still did something wrong even in making the export, but that's beyond what we can help with at this point.) You should never wipe a computer without a full backup of the disk.
-
If you mean that you're getting a file-not-found error, the files aren't there. See Files Not Syncing. You're just at your storage quota, so additional files weren't uploaded from the other computer. You'll need to add a storage subscription or tra…

What is Z:? This is a generic storage error. This is most common on a network share but could also be due to a physical problem with your disk or security software interfering with Zotero's ability to access the disk. If you can't figure it out, be…

That's just a Debug ID for a regular sync on iOS, with no attempt to open a file.

Not easily*, but we know this is an issue and plan to provide a way to do this. * You can construct a search for all PDFs — either in the quick search or a saved search (e.g., [Attachment File Type] [is] [PDF]) — and do Select All, which will only …

(Please start new threads for new issues — the thread you posted to isn't related. I've moved this to a new thread.) This is macOS? Zotero is just a standard Mac application, and we can't provide general OS guidance, but you should just quit any op…
