If the PDFs are available online, you'd be able to access them. If they're not, the owner of the group would need to see Files Not Syncing to debug this. (The owner of two of your groups is at their Zotero Storage quota, so additional files just are…

@divyendu.k: Linked files are not available in the mobile apps, no.
-
See Files Not Syncing, and if you're still having trouble provide the requested info.

I don't know what "I think we have a little problem here" is supposed to mean. You said, "The bug must have been fixed. Yay." I'm telling you that's not the case — there was no bug in macOS or Zotero that was fixed here. There is a years-old macOS …
-
@ashrafrauf: Are you running AdBlock for Safari?
-
There was no bug that was fixed. The situation is as explained on the linked page — there’s a macOS bug that causes the extension to sometimes disappear after app updates. As for why you couldn’t reinstall the app, I’d guess that you just hadn’t fu…

I’m not sure what you’re referring to. Can you say exactly what you tried and what happened at each step?
-
I linked to Debug ID instructions above.

@mhjasso: Oh, but the account you're posting from has only ever been synced from the iOS app. If you're using the desktop app, you're syncing with some other account. You can check the account you're using from the Sync pane of the Zotero settings. …
-
Note that the account you're posting from has unlimited institutional storage. If that's still an active email address, you don't need a personal storage plan and should email storage@zotero.org to cancel it. Beyond that, if you're still getting a …

Right, so the relevant part there is about how the actual unlinking likely happened earlier. You'll need to use the doc's version history to figure out when it occurred. (You can create a copy of the current document and then experiment with version…
-
Right, so it's one of those. Can you disable those one at a time and figure out which one is causing this?
-
Yes, @aeodhpt is correct, so no Debug ID necessary. (The first number is just a corruption of the second, with some of the numbers repeated, and the second isn't in the databases Zotero uses. Unlike with DOIs, there are no standard public repositori…

Most likely the files just don't have a text layer. You wouldn't be able to select text either. You'd have to OCR them using an external tool.

If you can't use the DB Repair Tool, you have a two main options: 1) Follow the manual repair instructions to run .recover from the SQLite command-line interface. We can't guide people through that on Windows, though. 2) If you've been using Zote…

But what Extensions do you have enabled in Safari? We'd really like to figure out why this is happening to people in Safari. (You can tell us in an email to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread if you prefer.)
-
That's a Report ID. Can you provide a Debug ID?
-
It only does that if you have View → Show Items from Subcollections on, because the alternative would be extremely confusing — you'd remove the item from that collection and it wouldn't disappear from the list.
-
That would be some problem on your computer or with your internet connection. The Zotero Connector is just a standard Edge extension. You should try from a different network.

Instructions are here: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/debugging_broken_documents

I'm not sure what you mean here. Can you say more?

Zotero has never been available from the Mac App Store. It's available from the download page on this site. The Zotero Connector for Safari is bundled with the app. Due to a macOS bug will sometimes disappear after when you update the app.

"Narrowed" and "full-screen" are not modes. The modes are Standard View and Stacked View. As I say, starting in Zotero 7, it will automatically switch into Stacked View if you make the window narrow enough. That didn't used to happen in Zotero 6. Bu…

You should read my previous comment. That's almost certainly all this is.
-
OK, my guess — from "old layout" and "navigate to the window at the bottom and scroll" — is that you ended up in Stacked View (View → Layout → Stacked View), either because you switched to it or because your window is too narrow and Zotero switched …

You are either misunderstanding or misremembering something here. If you provide some screenshots of what you're looking at, we can try to figure out the source of the confusion, but you obviously don't need to switch to the web library to accomplis…

Have you actually checked the integrity of this database file? If you're getting this error, the database is very likely corrupted (quite possibly from using it on a USB stick in the past). It's entirely possible to use a corrupted database for a lo…

You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.

What's the exact message that you're referring to? "Linked files" cannot be opened on iOS because linked files aren't supported on iOS. But that has nothing to do with Zotero Storage, which is for stored files. To convert linked files to stored fi…
